Royal Inn & Suites - Motel in Dallas - 6950 Marvin D. Love Fwy, USA

This Motel had bed bugs everywhere. Then I went back to the front counter to tell the person sleeping behind it about the bed bugs, and then he proceeded to look dumbfounded when I showed him pics. Then he gave me another room with no heat, but it was newly remodeled with no bed bugs.

Service was horrible they don't treat you with respect at all TV didn't work

They are a work in progress. The clerks are always friendly and helpful. The location is right off of Highway 67 and Camp Wisdom. Behind 7 eleven. Some of the rooms aren't the greatest but it takes time. Some of them have been updated and have really good water pressure in the shower.

In all honesty it’s a cool place but, if you come here expecting to use Wi-Fi don’t bother this has to be the worst Wi-Fi bandwidth I’ve ever used. Like really the Wi-Fi is terrible here can barley play a YouTube video without it buffering and when it doesn’t buffer it just takes a massive dive in frame rate (MASSIVE). I’d say the Wi-Fi messes up every 1-3mins (if your lucky) and, I’m not joking…

The first room we almost didn't get in because the door was beat down, the toilet didn't have a seat, no towels or tissue, ask for another room, no tissue and only had hand towels, the AC unit didn't work, sheets looked dirty, floor was so dirty, and the price was not right

When I pulled into the parking lot the first thing that caught my attention was how dilapidated the place looked. It was really run down. There was a man with about 5 small children walking out and I stopped and asked him if the place had roaches. He said yes. He said most of the rooms probably had them as there were many people living in the hotel on a permanent basis. This place wanted $50 a night for the room. That's just $10 bucks or so cheaper than Motel 6 and a few other nicer hotels. At least Motel 6 has newly renovated rooms in many of their hotels. I also asked the guy what was the weekly rate out of curiosity and he said most of the people he knew along with himself were paying $150 to $170 a week. I knew the woman would quote me more when I called (I'm told I sound very educated and corporate and because of this I routinely get quoted higher prices than others) and true enough she quoted me $250.00 for a weeks stay. Close to $100.00 more than what the others were paying. I sat in the parking lot and decided to call other hotels. When I was driving away I saw the man I had spoken to earlier about the weekly rate and I told him the woman in the office had quoted me $250 for a week. He was dumbfounded. He said "$250.00? Really?". I told him I knew she would charge me more because of how proper I sounded. All in all I decided not to stay. The roaches turned me off and honestly many of the negative reviews did too.

Location was excellent 5 minutes from the location I was working at. The rooms where accommodating with a fridge and a stove. Needs cookware though. Although the location was excellent for going to and from my work location the overall age of the building, which was very old, made for a loud night of trying to sleep, since it is located on a interstate access road.

The cleaning staff MUST be terrible. This location was on the First 48 and “cleaned” a room after a reported suicide that turned into a homocide. Housekeeping flipped the blood soaked mattress and left coagulated blood on the floor. This place is disturbing. Check your room thoroughly. Don’t stay here. RIP J.R
