Awful! Don't stay here! The carpet smelled so bad that my nose and throat hurt all night! There was a big hole in the bathroom door. And in my room there are 3 doors. That felt uneasy. Where do all these doors go??? The dresser top was ripped . So much peeling paint. Prolly cost $10 at a second hand store to get another one. Just absolute laziness. Don't stay here.
I never write reviews but I wanted to use this as an opportunity to warn others to STEER CLEAR of this place. My girlfriend and I were supposed to stay here, however after ringing the doorbell at the front desk about 4 times and waiting 20-30 minutes to check in, we decided to cut our losses and had to wander around an unfamiliar town at night to find a hotel with an open room. I can’t even speak on the cleanliness of the room like other reviews because we didn’t get that far. It is also located in a very shady area with people clearly on drugs wandering around outside the rooms, otherwise I may have been more patient and waited longer. If I could give it a zero I would.
The place lobby and room smelled like cat piss! The parking lot is shady no lighting in the bad side of town! I did not sleep at all worrying about my car outside! Had illreputs living full time!
Stayed here a night and seen friendly as first but soon I got back and went straight to my room two people walked to me and told me to slow down and go 3mph? The room were ok but smelled…they don’t even knock when they come check the rooms and I was changing…walked in on me…told me aggressively check out was at 11…other than that being watch constantly I didn’t feel welcome…
Had a 2 day stay from May 4th to May 5th but ended up leaving and finding a different place thanks to a cousin. Do not believe the pictures the rooms are disgusting and the heater was broken so they gave me a space heater to use which took 2 and 1/2 hours to warm up the room and ended up leaving it on the whole night so I wouldn’t freeze. I took a shower and the hot water shut off but had to fight with the cold water for about 10 minutes to get it to shut off as it didn’t want to shut off. The fan in the bathroom sounded like it was to fall out of the wall. The front desk lady was rude and seemed to have an attitude. Not sure if the deposit will be refunded as it’s the GM’s decision so will probably have to wait till Monday to find out. Will never stay here again way too sketchy. Also, the room next door had a dog that barked way too much and then I was yelled at for supposedly “talking to loud” which I wasn’t (I was on the phone and walking to my car to grab something) I just apologized and got what I needed and went back to the room. I really wanted to say something about the dog next door to me but I just wanted to try to get some sleep
I would give 0 stars if I could the room stinks of wet mold the place is so dirty the sheets and blankets are horrible we brought our own because we didnt trust it, feels like everyone who lives here know each other and makes you feel unsafe and the girl at the front desk was very rude at first and and the guy who lives here and works here also blamed us for slamming doors and yelled at us. We just apologized and came back to our room we will be moving out tomorrow morning as soon as we can.. Dont trust the positive reviews it's just the people who work there trying to keep the crack house open dont recommend to anyone.
We paid online before going to the royal inn to check in, when we get there the front desk is closed off and we rang a bell to get service. Whoever was working the front desk was standing outside with what I presume to be people staying at the hotel and they were yelling, she comes and opens the closet door and then tells us because we paid with card that we owed them a $100 deposit to stay there. We explained we already paid and she said she couldn’t do anything about that and they couldn’t give me a refund. We called the site we paid on and they said that they knew NOTHING of the so called $100 deposit, they tried to get ahold of the royal inn and never were able to get ahold of them. Save your money and go somewhere, (anywhere) else. It might be cheap but an extra $10 is worth not having the same experience we did. The property was disgusting and there were people EVERYWHERE probably on drugs. DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! Would have rated it ZERO stars, but that sadly is not an option.
Near down town was a great style cheapest I found and room was in nice quality Allows pets and maintenance request are handled fast not only maintaining the property but also the great customer service Helped me move to Wyoming from Pennsylvania HAS FREE COFFEE
