Royal Inn - Motel in Stephenville - 1190 E Washington St, USA

My boyfriend rented a room for a week and the Indian lady there kept coming to his room while I was there visiting him and told him he could not have visitors even during the day for no amount of time? She would come beating on his door telling him that I could not stay? When does a roach motel tell the occupant they could not have visitors? She even used her key to come in in as she knocked? And no smoking, the rooms are already brown from cigarette smoke? This lady can't even speak good English so half the time didn't know what she was even saying! So stay at your own risk, she watches every move you make and NO VISITORS!!! $280.00 A week for a dump with a dot head dictating what a grown man can do!!! Run

Burns in the covers, water on bathroom floor, no bathtub, heater wasnt working and all for 50.00 during worst freeze in yrs. This was the last room in town due to power outages and I had to get my own heaters. Owner/manager too 5.00 off 55.00 because the room had no heating or hot water. The room never got warm so I left before 10 pm. No refund. Horrible experience.

This place has bed bugs and roaches! Towels were filthy black. Told the owner and all he did was apologized. We were bitten all over. Refrigerator has a roach in it. Turned light on during night in bathroom and lots of roaches scattered.

When every other hotel in the area is booked and one has lots of rooms there is usually a reason. This place is very old and run down. Cracks in the walls. Dirty. Towels and bedding are probably from the 70's, and that's probably the last time they've been washed. I found lots of cockroaches in the morning in my room.

We been here for a week now recently moved to stephenville, they have provided good service they are friendly people if u don't have a ride to the store that's ok because well there's places around the motel that helps with that a short walk. Nice warm showers and a bed 2 chairs and direct tv and WiFi

BED BUGS!!! We showed management pictures of the welts, and pictures of the bugs taken inside the room. she threw a tantrum and claimed those weren't bedbugs, and that the pictures must have been from a different motel. I would definitely stay elsewhere!

Not recommended. Room was horrible shape everything looks like it been there for 50 yrs. Shower wouldn't get hot, the door has poor quality of a lock the heating wouldn't stay on.

Such a great family that owns this buisness. They truely believe in the customer being the key to their success. They keep their rooms clean and are the kindest hotel owners ive ever come across.
