This isn't a vacation hotel people live here the furniture was on sheets we're gross and walls. OMG the walls were sooo gross had to take pics. THAN the elevator broke had to go up and down stairs had the room on highest floor than stairs had a crib blocking stairwell. I took pics of everything that happened I will say for me I felt safe and I loved restaurant that were around area. Hotel had microwave first floor only and no iron but super gross oh and killed a roach. We had to stay due to emergency other places booked up and other hotels were far where we needed to be so this was ok for the most part
I had thought the cost of renting a room in any of the hotels in NY city would be very costly, but when I came across "Royal Hotel" in Bronx what I found was that it provided some of the finest services during my stay and is completely in one's budget. The food quality was exact the same as I had thought with ample of options in the menu. All the rooms & floors were properly maintained and were cleaned from time to time.
The hotel staff was well mannered and had make sure that all their guests feels like home at the "Royal Hotel"

Positive: It was absolutely disgusting. Our sheets were not clean at all. There were stains, hair, and dust particles. When we asked for new sheets, we were still given DIRTY SHEETS. The walls were covered in dirt marks, hand prints and grease. Hated it. Negative: Our room was dirty, the front desk man was not helpful, there were sketchy guys watching me and my friend walk to our room, our phone in the room wasn¿t working, it smelled like mold. It was soooo dirty I was scared I was going to get lice. Negative: ""
I just got off the phone with the person at the front desk and did not appreciate my experience. I made a reservation through a booking site to stay here two days ago. When I arrived with my partner, the clerk informed us that the price was double of what was advertised. He never asked for our names or any information. We made it clear we were not staying and decided to cancel. I tried calling numerous times in the past two days to confirm my cancellation and no response. Someone finally picked up the phone and as I was explaining my situation, he continuously cut me off. He will also say “no” as a response instead of something as “I understand your concern”. I let him know nicely at the end of the call that it would be beneficial to practice his customer service skills and he hung up the phone. I’m glad I did not stay here after reading other reviews and the experience I just had with the man at the front desk. They probably don’t care to provide the best service for the rooms in terms of cleaning, etc. I am so thankful the booking website support was extremely helpful and able to resolve my cancellation concerns.
I stayed here for one day, and I wanted to leave so fast nothing was clean. Elevators was dirty no refrigerator no ice the staff was not helpful. I gave him cash, and he did not give me a receipt back. The room smells like smoke. It was a horrible stare. I only stood there yes to sleep, but it was the worst sleep ever never will recommend by the way, it’s still on renovation and they charging prices like it’s five stars. But it’s not it’s -5
This PLACE! “ROYAL HOTEL” was a Horrible Horrible experience, the room was filthy, Yogurt & vomit on the elevator floor. The room had dirt marks on the WALL & DIRTY sheets…with BED BUGS. Total deceiving of room size with picture quality…size of the room is extremely small compared to the picture posted on the site. The service was unprofessional. I would NOT recommend ANYONE to book here, it seems as if it’s a BOLDEGA with their personal family living in the rooms/Building.

I booked my room a week prior, but I got an email one hour prior checking-in informing me that my reservation has been canceled.
When I called the person over the phone didn't bother introducing themselves, I had to ask if I was talking with Royal Hotel, then they proceed to tell me that my reservation has been canceled (no explanation) adding that I can still have a room, but I'll have to pay with cash only and of course it wasn't the price, I had to pay almost twice the price.
Everyone who works here is so nice and the hotel is very clean. My favorite part was the water fill station which seems like such a simple thing but it was nice being able to fill our reusable bottles whenever we needed to. Right by a subway station

This Hotel is very Lovely the beds are very comfortable to sleep on. ,But at Breakfast you have to wake up early like 5:30am or 6am ðð¥±, need more rest , the bathroom have no mat for the standing tub. The room are very clean ðð¾ ð the mi
