I met the owners after they had bought it back in 2011. I stayed in room 118 at the corner for almost 2 years with my son and our dog. They have improved ever since. They are amazing people. I am Rene, and I used to work at the refinery outside of town. I will recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay at a nice place at a great price. Thank you my friend and your family for having a good hotel. Rene.
surprisingly clean for a 1-2 star hotel. the bed is comfortable, the bedding is clean, the towels are quite good. the shower doesn’t drain well and 1/2 of the water comes out of the bottom faucet instead of the shower. the coffee maker was broken and wouldn’t have made even passable coffee if it hadn’t been (very low end coffee packet). the breakfast isn’t really. toast and cereal, with barely coffee. The walls are thin, and the train noise didn’t bother us at all. 3 stars instead of 2 because they are clearly trying.
Has microwave, refrigerator, iron, hair dryer. Breakfast (waffles) was advertised online. No waffles. The staff are nonenglish speaking. Not expecting good hospitality for a cheap room. Very pleasant. Has oversize parking, ice. Very comfortable bed. Front staff walk out barefoot & in pajamas. Housekeeper "take your time". Better than most Route 66 stays. A Better stay here than motel that was about $5-10 more the night before. Thank You!!! Well worth the money.
This rating is difficult. The entire motel is warn out. From the stairs to the second floor to the lampshades in the room, ALL ARE IN NEED OF REPLACEMENT. The TV is about the size of my laptop computer and the bathroom is the size of an RV's. With all this said the price is more than fair. The room was clean and for me that is the MOST important aspect. I had the feeling the owners were doing the best they could with what they had to work with. For me, the BIGGEST downfall was the trains going by about every 15 to 20 minutes. I simply couldn't sleep.
We got in at 3 am and asked for a 12 check out and they refused so not a great start. No extra pillows or blankets so we were cold all night. Very minimal but there was a coffee maker with ONE coffee packet, unusable shampoo and soap, can’t be cheaper, no hand towels, can’t be cheaper. Train is loud but we slept with ear plugs. It was clean.
It felt more like a hostel than a motel. Very dated and they apparently take no pride in upkeep. Rooms were dirty, carpet were visibly dirty, also had stains and what appeared to be blood splater in some areas. Bedding did not seem clean neither, as I found multiple stains and hairs in them and when I requested fresh sheet it was a $10 charge. Train comes by like every 15mins or so, all night blarring their horns. Which had me worried as it would be easy for someone to break into your car without being heard as the trains are so frequent and loud. Yes, it's cheap, but there's good reason for the low price. I recommend you have a current tetanus and hepatitis shots if you are brave enough to stay here.
The two most important things to me in an affordable motel are cleanliness and plumbing. The first thing I noticed was how clean the room was, and the plumbing was totally fine. A couple of minor inconveniences, but that is to be expected.
Ideal to crash and follow a trip the following morning. I was able to check in around midnight. Convenient price and location. I had no issues with the bed and bathroom. I parked right in front of the room so that was convenient too. Gas station nearby

I wasn't expecting to have Middle Eastern food for dinner this evening, but when I asked Yelp for restaurants that were open and inexpensive, this place was at the top of the list and it's near where I want to be. Easy. Warmly greeted and seated, I
Front of house was spotless! The people here take pride in their space. All 3 serving staff visited our table and were friendly. Great team and great service. Biscuits and gravy were fantastic, as was coffee.
Absolutely amazing sandwiches, 2nd time here and they are consistent with the food and quality ingredients. And being open 24hrs was amazing! Also 2nd time trying the donuts and I'd have to say to pass on these, stick to the sandwiches. The staff are
Excellent products, they have a lot of organic and out of town products. Recently (posted January 2023) they upgraded their refrigerators and produce aisle. It looks awesome! It's always a pleasure to go here and they take EBT(SNAP) also.
We enjoy the new Lost Raiders here in a very nicely done old theater. We were only ones there and sat in the perfect spot. The staff was friendly and the restrooms were clean. We park right out front also. The seat are the most comfortable I have sat

The best place to get a burrito, in Gallup. Real athletic Mexican food, Maria gave me excellent customer service, the ladies in the kitchen were very friendly. âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸
At Angelaâs Cafe, everyone is treated like a local. The staff here are genuine, friendly and attentive. Sitting at the counter gave us the opportunity to really admire the decorations and read all the hilarious signs. Notable eats: The tuna salad
I do not usually share my review, online. We made a 1 night stop in Gallup, during our family trip. So glad we found and chose this hotel, the room was well stocked and clean. The staff are all kind and helpful. The breakfast host Teresa was a bonus;
