I called 20+ times tonight and they will not answer the phone. A few times he answered and breathed into the phone and then hung up. Finally a man answered one time and I asked to be connected to a room, he said the rooms have no phones. I asked to leave a message for someone and he hung up on me. I then called many more times and he would not answer the phone. Absolutely abysmal customer service. I understand it's in a bad area with bad clientele but it was very important that I reached a family member who was staying there and they would not even answer the phone and hung up.
Not the best motel/hotel to stay at but something last minute kinda situation. If your familiar with the area then you know what to expect at this location. If your from out of town and have kids I'd suggest going over to Dyer/Grand Ave in Santa Ana. Better hotels/rooms same price. You won't be exposed to drug use/paraphernalia all around "The Royal Inn" area and majority of that area has bugs in the rooms.
The people who stay here do a ton of drugs openly. They'll def try to rob you. The staff and owners don't care. Try calling and getting someone to pick up the phone. They know what it is.
Nicest people running this place and very easy to deal with specially if you're a lil. Short on your day payment they are very understanding and willing to help you out with making the payment thanks a lot management you're very nice and polite I wished all the other hotels were more like you!
Unfortunately this is the worst places I’ve been to since coming to California a year ago. We booked 4 days but left on the 3rd because someone broke into our motorhome and stole $4,000 dollars worth of our personal property. Very sad day. This is the ghetto. Slums.. Very run down, outdated rooms. Avoid at all costs.
Hotel manager efficiently check me in and was very accommodating with a early check in. Room was clean and neat. The bathroom had a nice shower and tub. Room rate was fair especially for Friday night. Wifi with a modern TV was a nice plus.
I was drinking at a nearby bar, so I decided I'll be responsible and spend the night at a nearby motel. Motel 6 was full, but they pointed to this motel and said they have the exact same price and have rooms open.||||When I got there I felt like I am at a 1920s hostel. It stank, the flies were unbearable, and everything was so unbelievably old and worn. But it's ok, they're cheap. Right?||||Knocked on the glass. A middle-age Asian guy came to the window. He could barely put a sentence together. First he said they have no rooms. Then he thought about it for a few seconds, then said that they do. Then proceeded to charge me $80 for the night.||||I looked the receipt. Looked back at the stinky old place. Told him it's too much for the conditions of the place, and that I don't think I can afford it, being a student. He got worked up quickly, said that it's a "business place" and that he already charged my card. I said reverse it, he refused. I signed "no thank you" in place of my signature and gave it back to him. He said "ok" and went back to sleeping on the couch, as if I wasn't even there.||||The nerve of these people. You can't possibly call this a good "business". You can have a pretty nice room for the same price in a nicer neighborhood. I remember paying the same amount to stay at Treasure Island and Caesar Palace. And a night at Hotel Hilton for maybe $25 more. ||||Just forget it, it sucks. Too crappy, too expensive.
If this wall could talk ... Isn't that what they say... For a wild, scary, adventurous, daring and unforgettable night( not necessarily a good type of unforgettable) The legendary Royal Roman is your best bet! Enter at your own risk. Rooms: Below average. Gust services: What? What is that? Quality: Ditto. Safety: Ditto that ditto. Price: Ridiculous, too much. Almost as a Marriott Fairfield inn.. Location: For a dive motel; the very best. Drugs galore, homeless galore, and is easy to assume STDs galore.. Still once in a while one must expose one self to such environment so that we appreciate how very blessed we are, and perhaps be more grateful, kind and empathetic. Where I used to see places like this I used to be an as$hole pointing the finger at the people homeless unwilling to change the quality of their life... Until.... I understood that whomever is free of sin cast the first favking stone . Check it out... If you are low in the faith department, check this legendary Royal Roman hotel! And tell me ALL about it;)
Sender is the best climbing gym in the OC! In addition to climbing, Nicola's bootcamp made me super strong. I have been taking her class here for years and I am stoked with this new space.
