Our trip was on a Sunday morning in early September. It was beautiful weather which required a light jacket. Once the train got rolling we went to the open air car & spent the entirety of our tour there. That allowed for the best views for the complete ride. The views were spectacular. This tour is a bit pricey but the stunning views definitely make it worth it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, it's great for all ages.

Definitely try it out.. beautiful views. Drinks was really good. I only had the chips and dips but it was tasty as well. Customer service was really good.. We opt out of the photo because that team minus the photographer was being weird. Would have been a great memory. But they have a great gift shop if that happens to you too. What a fun experience for the family! We went for the Christmas train ride so that we could visit with Santa. My daughter loved it all the way through. You have the train ride in the mountains, Christmas decor, staff dressed up as elves, plenty of servers for the train car, good selection of food and beer, and just an overall great atmosphere. I would suggest getting on the second level of the train car so you have more windows to see out of. They also have an excellent gift shop, with bathrooms. Enjoy!

A MUST DO! The experience is worth every penny. The train is very clean and spacious. The staff were top notch - We had Scott and he was amazing at his job. Not only a great waiter, but also an excellent tour guide making sure to highlight interesting things we passed and answering any additional questions with a detailed response. The food was also impressively tasty. But the unique views are what defines this as an amazing experience. So many gorgeous landscapes you get to soak in every turn. You need to check this out!

Stunning, beautiful, spectacular. Just a few words to describe our train ride through the Royal Gorge. The magnificent views from the train ride were breathtaking. Our group booked the Vista Dome car and enjoyed a delicious lunch and drinks. Service was great!! The Vista Dome grants access to open-air cars. Well worth booking the Dome to see the Royal Gorge views from this standpoint. One person who stood out from this train experience was team member Hubie. He directed passengers to the train cars and shared with us interesting stories and history of the Royal Gorge area while we viewed from the open-air car. Highly recommend this trip for all age groups.

This train Route it's beautiful, we buy a coach "Standard" chairs they asignan number, you can order drinks and food additional. All the views are amazing, beautiful, it's a special place. Cañon City, it's beautiful. Free parking and we pay 89. And 84 kids plus fees. They are taking a picture for 35. We have a great experience and good memories of the views.

Do I recommend it? 🤔 I did enjoy the view. I wish they had a route to go back to the station and not the same way. Is it worth your money? No. It is expensive. The food was not great, but the service we got was amazing. But go ahead and experience it. Colorado's locals are amazing and treat you great.

Such an amazing experience with a beautiful view. I highly recommend visiting if you are visiting Colorado with Family and friends . They gave us hot chocolate complimentary and they have a menu with plenty options. Scott was amazing very informative and funny. Shoutout to Jingle Plus we met Santa 🎅.
