Royal Buffet - Chinese restaurant in New Richmond - 1655 Dorset Ln #100, USA

Ate there on a Friday night. Food was absolutely delicious; with stuffed mushrooms and peanut butter chicken being my favorites. Waitress was very attentive. They have a chocolate fountain! The buffet was very clean and with enough turnover that it was fresh. Cost about $80 for four people. Seemed to be fair price for what we got.

The food was good… up until we found a hair in the food. My friend went to one of the waitresses and politely let them know about it, and nothing was done or said. Then we let the manager know she said that the long, straight piece of hair belong didn’t belong to them but one of my two short curly haired friends or came from one of my locs. She argued with us about it but decided to change tempo when we asked to see the cameras they said they had, and then still wanted my friend to pay for his meal. Just very poor service and dismissive and rude attitudes towards the whole situation.

Stopped in at 1 PM on April 12, 2021. Everything was really fresh. Everything tasted really good. I don’t remember the last time I went out for Chinese food? I usually make it myself because of Covid. But this truly was an amazing meal. Seriously very good food. I’m so happy I dropped in. All the workers wear masks and gloves. Inside is very clean. People are very kind. Do yourself a favor and hit this place up. Until the next review, -Steve-O, out.

Moved to Amery 1.5 years ago. I like Asian buffets! Started out a good place to eat but has slipped a lot! Seafood smells bad, too long out in the open, overall food has been sitting out there all day! Not fresh, and not very good with half of the items empty! Wait staff with lifeless faces and personalities! If your going to go..go for lunch not dinner..even worse after 5 as they try to use up the lunch crowd food. Disappointed for sure since it's a 25 minutes drive one way. The last three attempts were not pleasing! Going elsewhere.

Started out waiting 10 minutes for our drinks. Buffet was pretty picked over with a few items left that did not look appealing. And my goodness don't ask for napkins.... it's a whole fiasco. Definitely gave a times are "tough" vibe. Then she brought our bill and the price was different than what was posted inside the front door. Brought it to her attention and she refused to acknowledge it. Food was ok at best. The ice cream situation was a little disturbing. Everyone helps themselves to the almost empty buckets and places the used scoop into a nasty bath of dirty, cloudy water. Ick! End of story. I'd definitely pick somewhere else to go next time.

The lady’s are nice however they have no life to their faces the food was not good and I’m 100% sure there was mold on the banana at the dessert part of the buffet honestly this place should not be in business

A huge sign out front advertising the price, but the bill does not reflect that. When I ask them they just said old price sorry and laughed. Food was ok, a little plain for my taste, but… I won’t go back. Disappointed

This is one of the best, if not THE best, Chinese buffets I have been to. It is really nice to have such a great buffet here in town.
