Roxy's Island Grill - Hawaiian restaurant in Beaverton - 14845 SW Murray Scholls Dr, USA

This is always a favorite place of mine to eat but they cheaped out on the noodles when I ordered two scoops sides of it. I think I’ll just keep in mind to always eat in person here so I can see how much is given. Mind you the photo I haven’t had a bite yet and there is barely any noodles.

I really enjoy this location of Roxy’s. Their portions are larger than Tualatin’s and they have the option to do half and half for the meats which is awesome! The food is consistently tasty and the people who work there are nice. There have been times when my order was missing items/was wrong but I just expressed it to them in a kind manner and they always take care of it for me. Thank you for the delicious meals!!

Super quick for some items that are pre-made. I was picking up a doordash order and decided to order for myself and I was out of there in less than 2 minutes. The mac salad is better than most and kalua pork is really good too. Oh and employees were nice :)

I hope I'm reviewing the correct location... thought I'd started it earlier. The Beaverton location is the one that I recently visited. It was kind of by accident. I was charging my car and was looking for a place to hang out until full. Well... I ended up at Roxy's... and I'm glad I did! First, it had been many years since I last visited it. Many fond memories exist going to the original A-frame building with my wife. We both loved the food. More later but for now, any meat fish, fish included, is great. Of course, your mileage may vary. I got all that I could that came with it and even added a mac salad...not to be missed and I don't like Mac salad! I added a coke to complete the bit of decadence. Also the employees were fantastic! Helpful, friendly and very personable. I helped them connect to the original store with memories. They have photos of the original A-frame building that helped trigger my memory. Believe it or not, I actually shed a tear or two my memories were so intimate and nice. IF you like Hawaiian food at all or want to try it... run, don't walk to Roxy's.

The food is amazing! Just getting that out of the way. The Shoyu chicken is so tender and flavorful. The Mac salad is decent and the garlic chicken is extremely crispy (could be a little more garlicky). The only thing I personally have a problem with is the actual menus as I have anxiety going to new places and get overwhelmed easily. Behind the register are photos of the items and some instructions, but then there is also a huge printed out menu to the left that feels extensive so I don’t know if I should be reading the whole printout or use the photos. Then as your ordering there are more photos of items to the right. It all feels very complex and would be nice if it were made more simple. There’s a huge wall with nothing on it where the menu could be so you don’t feel like you are holding up a line. Or a 1. Pick your meat or two 2. Pick your sides, etc.. sorry for my ignorance I still don’t know how it works. Again the food is amazing and worth coming back for. Shoyu chicken every time!

You can never go wrong with this Roxy's , always one of my top choices when it comes to consistency and flavor 😋. I got a half order of Kalbi Chicken and Glarlic Chicken 2 Mac one Rice 🍚. It was busy too when I went, the staff did an excellent job handling the dinner rush.(ppl will wait for good food).

Excellent place for takeout Hawaiian food but do not dine in. Every single surface you touch is dirty and/or sticky. Also, they started limiting how many cups of sauce you can have with takeout, which is just plain cheap. The wait times are incredibly long but if you call the restaurant to place an order for takeout they won't take the order and insist you come in and wait. Menu is small but straightforward and everything I have tried on the menu has been delicious.

Food is good, BUT the last two times I ordered TERIYAKI lava hot, and the order was not spicy at all. I will be ordering from a different location.
