The food is always amazing, some of the best Hawaiian food around. Always so fresh and tasty, you can tell if it made fresh. Food is not fast but it’s okay for how good it is. If you want some refreshing tasty food go here!

Just an absolute mess. I keep giving this place a chance because maybe it’ll be better, but after 3 tries, never again. I ordered extra gravy for my hamburger steak and they put it in a BOX. Food was cold, and it always takes so long to wait for your food. Never again.

01/05/18: 4.0 out 5 - Since my move to the Portland area, I'm always looking for good Hawaiian grind. Roxy's Island Grill was a place a friend of mine frequents. The place is simple, clean, and with ample seating. The lines can be long, but often it seemed like most of the patrons took their food to go. The counter service was pretty quick with the ordering process. Simple pictures posted to get an idea of what you are ordering along with average prep times. Average prep time? Well, the food is made to order which is one of the factors that's makes this place appealing. I had ordered the Sweet Garlic Chicken. In my opinion, the food and service was good. I initially wanted to rate this Roxy's location a 3.5, but I bumped it up to 4 because one of the staff was going around checking on the seated patrons and asking if they would like to sample the Chicken Katsu. To me, that's someone who demonstrates that they care and would like you to come back. Pretty OHANA if you ask me. If you find yourself near this Roxy's, try the place once and decide for yourself. The employees seem disinterested and disregard requests made when ordering food. I witnessed one customer come in, while I was waiting for my food, and stated the order was messed up and they also never recieved any sauces. The reactions by the employees were very telling, they didn't want to be there nor help. I'm not sure what that customers order was, but I know it was wrong. And then I finally got my order and I had to ask for the sauces that I paid extra for. Why charge me 25 cents per cup and not actually provide me with what you charged me. It's disappointing seeing the quality of service go down ever since the fire years back.

Ordered musubi and half kalbi/shoyu inside at location. Oder was ready within 5 minutes, no mususbi and I had 5 pieces of kalbi. My friend ordered garlic chicken, we waited 30 minutes then asked for an ETA on the food..an other 20 minutes they said. hot mess express there, order mix ups and serval people waiting longer than 30 minutes. **Go to Murray Scholls location** never any issues and a plate full of food.

The quality of this place has gone way downhill, I'm sad to say. The fried food was soggy, and the whole plate lunch had a ton of moisture pooled at the bottom. Reviewed at 5 stars 5 years ago, sad to see this place go.

We love Roxy's. This location has the best food. I LOVE the swim in here. Closest I've found to the ones on Oahu! I order it with spam! So ono! The Korean garlic chicken is excellent too!!
