Roxbury Motel - Motel in Ledgewood - 1140 US-46, USA

This is an Indian-Owned, sub-par, unhealthy, filthy hotel with dirty rooms, mold growing and a roach infestation where they are crawling all over the walls, floor and even the bedding. Who oversees these Slum Lords? Mold and roach infestation can exacerbate health conditions. Someone needs to be aware of these conditions and put minimal standards in place for these uninhabitable rooms, like housekeeping and pest extermination. These quarters are vile and abhorable! These people should be reported!

I’m sorry but they’re like a bed bug and or insect issue. It’s so bad I was covered in bites the next morning. And make matter worse my friend had the same problem 2 weeks before and even addressed to the day manager and he just yell that his rooms always nice and clean. Like are you delusional? It’s not worth the price. Everything needs to be fumigated. Just changing linens isn’t enough once they’re an infestation.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. If I was able to give it a negative rating I would. The room stunk to high heaven. There was a dirty towel on the floor in the bathroom. The refrigerator looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The staff was rude. We didn't stay.

I honestly don't know where to start: no web page, lack of phone etiquette, major disregard for guest questions, the drugged up guest, circling the parking lot, the rude owners/mangmt staff, the fact that they prohibit you from having any visitor after 7pm, the fact that mgmnt will spy on you as they're directly across from all the rooms, the yellow and greasy remote you are given at check-in for your a/c heater, the fact that the older gentleman had no regards for customers as he kept hacking up a lung (especially during these sensitive covid times), the fact that the owner wouldn't give his name, the fact that the owner did not care if I wrote a review or not, the fact that the owner and his father/father-in-law? looked disheveled and horrid exposed dry cracking feet was the greeting, the fact that the main check-in area looked like it hasn't been cleaned in years....||||I mean, that's not even the icing on the situation. In summary, I am looking into writing the NJ Business Consumer Affairs Dept to report the unsafe conditions of this business, not only that, but the rudeness and arrogance of the mangmt/owners of this place.||||Never again. The place is a dump. I walked in the room, saw what I was getting myself into, and walked right out where I headed to the office to ask for an immediate refund. There was no way I could stay there, especially after the rudeness, dirtiness, and the virus hub the operating staff has left that place to be.||||In short folks, either to sleep for a few hours, trust me, it's a thousand percent not worth it. These folks do not respect other people's needs or money, so why would I spend my money on this place with no respect in return??||||Next.

Great price for a tight budget $50/night plus tax. NO BUGS 😃 Very dirty. The shower had mold growing on top of mold. Old everything lamps bed linens. You get what you pay for.

The ac did not work in one room and they wehere very nice and gave me a different room. The next room was not the best toilet was semi clogged and did not flush right comforter had stains on it. Do not recomend prices are real cheap 63 dollar a night. Guess its true what they say. You get what you pay for.

This place is disgusting. The town pays for homeless people to stay. Too many junkies, and prostitutes. Man In the office is nasty. Charged 350 a week for one person. And wanted 100 for another. I’d feel bad making a dog stay here let alone a person. Rooms look like a ton of water leaks and like the walls are going to fall on you. WHATEVER YOU DO DONT STAY HERE!

We had some damage to our house one thing led to another and stayed here a few nights in November because it was cheap and near my husband's job. I think the sheets were clean and the shower was hot, but ew - the blinds had thick dust and grime on them, and no curtains! ||||Do not EVER stay here, not to save a few bucks. Scary!
