I kept forgetting about the Grill and would remember when driving by. Finally got there on a Walmart run. I started to go with breakfast but saw the hotdogs are Nathan's. I went with the Char Heel with no onions and shredded Cheddar, tots with cheese and bacon and a side of macaroni salad made that day. Husband went with the special... chicken fried chicken with mashes potatoes and French fries. The hotdog was so good and loaded with topping. The tots had big pieces of real crunchy bacon and they were cooked just right. I took the pasta home for lunch the next day... so good with my leftover pork. I'm a salt-a-holic, so I did add salt. The gravy was really good! It was so nice being in a down-home grill with great friendly service. I will be back for breakfast!
Y’all I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Not many mom and pop places around anymore. RCG gives that small town family feeling from the moment you walk in the door. It was so nice to see the people walk in and visit with each other hug and sit down and talk with folks they haven’t seen in a while or maybe they did but just enjoyed the company of them. RCG is alway busy, but yet you still get great service. It is the place to be! The food is amazing and we tried several menu items and not disappointed at all. We ate two out of three meals on the 4 day stay we had in town at the hotel next store. If y’all want a down home feeling and great food, go have a meal or two or three at RCG you will not be disappointed. If you can’t dine, they have carrie out as well.

I generally order either breakfast or a cheeseburger at a diner when I first try them out, and was very pleased. Made to order, "hand shaped" patty, with fresh toppings. Tater tots made for a nice change of pace from french fries.
I guess we just came on a bad day.
Waited 45 min for a (singular) hot dog, nothing else.
So whenever the food does arrive. I'll see if I'll do takeaways. But i won't dine in again..

The food is pretty good, especially the breakfast. It's become a regular stop for me and a colleague when passing through Roxboro. The service is always extremely friendly and helpful. The lunch is okay, but I think I'll be sticking to their breakfast, personally. The building itself could really use some updates. It's a tad old and outdated, but some may say that actually adds to the charm. And they do keep the place clean, which is a must. It's an older family style diner. All in all, I recommend it.

Best place in Roxboro to eat! Delicious food no matter what you order. Fast, friendly staff. It's always old home week when you walk in the door because everyone you know is also there eating. You absolutely cannot beat the prices!

I did not like the hand made chips, they weren’t cooked all the way; they were kind of slimy with grease and not crisp. When I mentioned it to the hostess she took them back and didn’t charge me for them. My son encouraged me to buy them because he loves them. They usually very good.

Hotel was great. In town for baseball tournament. Hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant. Room was quiet. Excellent choice. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.
I went on Thanksgiving. I expected a crowd and there was but the manager was by the registers and had employees helping to seat the customers as quickly as possible.
