It’s a neat little place that retains a lot of the charm of historic Route 66, including some antique cars on the premises. It feels pretty safe and my room was nice and clean with modern updates to complement the retro vibe. I would totally stay there again.

This was a late booking with a limited budget on our Route 66 road trip. I would say it was the best-value of the various motels we stayed at. Despite being very cheap, the room was much better than the photos in the profile. It was refurbished to a modern specification, including microwave, fridge and small kitchenette. The bathroom was very good with a decent hot shower. TV channels were extensive and the beds comfortable. The staff were very friendly and kind. The grounds have a little homage to Route 66 and Western culture - vintage car wrecks, domestic objects - which are worth a look round if you have a few minutes. The town of Barstow is fairly easy to navigate. I would definitely come back to this hotel

Nice place to stay for one night, interesting exterior with the Route 66 atmosphere. It's close to Calico ghost town which we wanted to visit in the morning. Room was good, clean, and had mini kitchen inside with refrigerator which is very useful.

Small, inexpensive motel, no frills, quiet, safe. Nice kitchenettes in some rooms. My issue was that the AC wasn't on when I arrived on a scorching hot, 108 degree day so it took hours to get the room to a comfortable temperature. Also the Wi-Fi wasn't working, there was were no lamp at the bedside, no condiments for the coffee, and the smoke alarm was dangling from the ceiling.

Great location. The vintage style of the mot is a +. The rooms are great but kind of small. The beds are clean, there's a fridge, a small kitchen with a sink and microwave. The front desk is also cordial. They are also pet friendly.

At first glance this appeared to be a cute motel, all themed for Route 66. However, it turned out to be the dirtiest place we've ever stayed at. The soles of our feet were completely black after walking in the room for a few minutes - I don't think the floor has ever been washed. Also, we found 5 roaches overall in the room. And the coffee machine was so dirty we didn't even attempt to use it. I know the place is cheap and well located but hygiene is a must! This place is a health hazard. Stay away.

The room with double beds and full kitchen was definitely redone recently. Furniture and appliances were in like new condition. Floor had some damage, and the room had a funky odor. Parking lot worked for us, but would not recommend for a large SUV or Truck.

I wanted to believe in this place so bad since I love the nostalgia of Route 66. But I was disappointed first by the lack of continuity of the Route 66 theme into the rooms. Rooms are cold and modern. Secondly, my elderly mother was not feeling well in the morning and moving rather slowly. I asked if we could check out an hour later, 12pm vs 11am and I was shown no empathy whatsoever. No eye contact from receptionist. And I feel the language barrier only made it worse.

A great side trip from the main road to see some cool rock formations. The off-road trail was easy to drive, and the colors and scenery were amazing. It's a nice, quiet place to explore and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

I usually find roads to be just that, but Route 66 is different. It feels melancholy, wistful. It makes me think of all the hopes, dreams, and individuals that traveled it going somewhere in search of better futures. Worth a visit, a pull over, and a

Absolutely a home town, mom and pop vibe. Loved that everyone who came in and out knew each other. And what’s better is the food. Ordered the carnitas empanadas and sopes Al pastor. Just delicious. Meat was wonderfully tender, didn’t need salsa
