Route 66 Inn - Motel in Amarillo - 2806 E Amarillo Blvd, USA

Stayed here for a night, great for the price, the area it’s a bit sketchy but they have cameras everywhere so I felt better about that, room was clean, room comes with a coffee maker, our TV wasn’t working but since it was one night I really didn’t care.

Positive: Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets. Could have used a 4th pillow in each bed since there were 5 of us sleeping. Negative: Huge speed bumps in the parking lot were a little rough, even for my Suburban. There was a large gap in the door seal that let in a lot of sound and air. I wish there was more than just the one door lock. Negative: ""

Fairly nice place to stay on a budget. I was pleasantly surprised that the room was very clean. Bed extra comfortable. Fairly nice sized TV. Definitely worth staying at

we stayed here once this summer, and we had a wonderful stay. this time, it was not as enjoyable but still good for the price. service can be hit or miss, either very efficient and welcoming or very apathetic and trying to rush me out the door so they themselves can leave. they also charged me slightly more than my booking stated and didn’t explain why. it’s on the older side of Amarillo and the restaurants nearby, especially later at night, are limited. but it makes it very easy to get in and out of town, especially heading north. our room was very cold when we arrived and we had to crank the heater for most of the night to get it to a comfortable temperature. and this is very minor, but our room last time had bedside lamps and our room this time did not have any additional lighting besides the main overhead light, which i thought was odd. probably would stay again but may look at other options in the meantime.

Older but very nice. Off of the freeway so it was quiet. Coffee in the morning but no breakfast. Owner was very nice & answered our questions. Was comfy & pillows were nice. Nice towels and shampoo & body wash provided. Also close to a gas station if you need to fill up before you continue your day.

I think they have done a good job redoing the rooms and such. neighborhood looks industrial. we slept good 😴 👍

What a lucky find! Rooms freshly renovated. VERY comfortable beds, bathroom very clean, owner is very nice! Saw a couple of good reviews & am so glad we gave it a chance! Room very comfortable & clean & nicely decorated. Refrigerator spotless. Price is very reasonable. Do yourself a favor & stay here!

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I was looking for a room to sleep while I hit the road early in the morning. I was greeted by a friendly proprietor who you can tell really cares about his business. My room was clean, I slept well and in my case I requested an area with a well lit parking lot. the front is very well lit and he has cameras all over the lot. Overall, I would stay here again.
