We were staying at the Horseshoe close by and didn't want the expensive food there, but didn't want to go to far either. Saw the good reviews and so here we go. We both had the bacon cheddar burger. One with fries and one with onion rings. The 1/3 lb handmade patty had a real good flavor and was tender and juicy. The bacon was plentiful and crispy. The crinkled fries were good but could be better if they were crisp. The onion rings were crispy and fresh. Overall it was a very good. Recommended two thumbs-up 👍 👌

Absolutely love this place! Amazing customer service. The women at the front are sweet as can be ! We went in with our 3 kiddos and they all devoured the kids meals. My western burger was outstanding. My husband got the bacon cheddar and he completely finished it aswell! We will 100% return time and time again. Not one single thing to complain about❤

I absolutely fell in love with this diner. It gives old time vibes. The restaurant is clean. They added a personal touch with customers photos. The service was professional and the wait time was quick. The burgers were fresh and on point. Definitely a great place for a great burger.

We were in the Lake Charles area for a funeral and had desired to go to Darrell's. However, it was closed, so we had passed by the Round Top Burger House and decided to eat there (it was also close to the hotel). We read the reviews and knew we had to try it. I had a regular hamburger with onion rings, and my wife had the roast beef poboy. She was really impressed with the poboy and said it was one of the best she had eaten. The hamburger and onion rings were really good. The onion rings were cooked just right with real onions in them. Great place to grab a burger if you're in the area.

This place is so good! The kind of place you'll eat at two nights in a row. They have a lot more than burgers, too. The really impressive part (for me) was when I walked in the door at 5:53 and was welcomed in even though they close at 6:00 pm. No attitude! I ordered the Mad Dog burger w/ onion rings and my sister in-law got the bacon (bacon was perfectly cooked) cheese burger w/fries. Both our meals were hot, freshly cooked and generous in size. It's the kind of burgers that come wrapped in that white paper!!!The next night we got there at 5:45 and still, no "we're about to close" attitude!!! Again, I got the Mad Dog burger (jalapeños and pepperjack) w/fries and my sister in law got the fried fish basket w/ fries. She LOVED THE FISH. Not too much batter and the fish tasted clean and was fried to perfection!

Visiting from Texas and found this little gem. Great burgers and the onion rings were AMAZING! Service was outstanding as well! Will be eating here every time we're over here!!!

My first time there, the burger was excellent (mushroom and swiss) the fries were delicious and the portions were much more than I expected. There's a lot of menu options and I will be trying out more of them. I've read the reviews and I have to add my very positive review to the rest.

Good food, got in and out fast. Sweet little local place would love to visit again
