Round the Bend Steakhouse - Steak house in Ashland - 30801 E Park Hwy, USA

Excellent steak! Originally from Nebraska, but living in Florida for decades now, I hauled the family up north for Thanksgiving and had the unique experience of dining here with some friends. We were sat quickly with a big group of 10 and had friendly, attentive service. We all got a kick out of the bull balls, and most of us gave it a try. The real star was the steaks, cooked to perfection, tender and nicely seasoned. One of my sides was the hash browns, with onions and cheese, a tasty side, rich in flavor. The atmosphere is like a big, comfy barn, true Nebraska style feel. The whole family enjoyed it and will be talking of it for years to come.

Came back for the holidays and wanted to stop by here again. Every time I come, the food is always delicious. Not too long of a wait time for a table. Servers are always nice. Had a steak with shrimp, mac and cheese, and hashbrowns. The shrimp was so freaking yummy!! Of course, everything else was delicious to. But I think next time gonna have more shrimp.

Rarely I rate anything 5 stars but this restaurant deserves it. The steak was juicy, tender, seasoned just right, not salty, and cooked to perfection. At $29 for a flavorful 22 oz top sirloin with 2 sides, it's way better and only a quarter of the price at other steakhouses. But the fried bull balls are basically just deep fried batter, nothing to discern the inside. No wonder it's packed with diners, even though it's in the middle of nowhere. I'll definitely come back when I travel to its vicinity.

This is a relaxed Nebraska steakhouse. Competitive prices for large portions of food. Meat was cooked perfectly to order. Wait staff was polite even though very busy. I suggest having reservations for weekend nights, but I highly recommend this restaurant. Also, great idea having conversation starter cards on the table. It's a great place to put you phone down and enjoy the people you're with!

Very happy with our visit to Round the Bend! Cool story, when I was a little girl, I’d come to south bend in the tiny bar at the end of town. We’d spend many days hanging out and enjoying the testicle festival as well. My husband and I came from Omaha to support this awesome place. We loved the food! I had the best burger I’ve had in ages. My fries were perfect. My husband had the filet mignon and sweet potato fries. Also- the margarita—I may just come back for 100 more- so dang good! We came on a Saturday night, understandably busy. Got in within 30 mins. 10 stars! Great establishment. We loved the bonus conversation cards. ❤️

Had almost an hour wait to get a seat but was worth it. Everything was great. Fried pickle spears were very crisp and tasty. Busker nuggets are great with the sauce. The steaks were cooked perfectly, very juicy, tender, and seasoned very well. Service was very good. Kept our drinks full and checked on us often.

Great place to eat with the family!! Lots of choices on the menu, gizzards, mountain oysters, fish to fried chicken, or awesome rib eye steaks. Make sure you have your full party with you before you check in. They will not put you on the waiting list until everybody is there.

Round the Bend (RTB) near Ashland is another top tier steak house I gravitate towards. RTB is a roomy bar & grill specializing in steaks, prime rib & Seafood namely fried. The drinks are made to perfection, they offer a nice selection of both domestic and specialty beers. They don’t offer reservations as I recall but there is lots of space and plenty of free parking. A great location for watching sports and just down the road from Quarry Oaks golf course. Make this a perfect day by grabbing 18 holes followed with a great meal and steaks or make it a wonderful weekend by utilizing lodging just down the road at Mahoney State Park. RTB hosts the Testicle Festival – which is a two day party devoted to nuts and flowing with plenty of cheap beer and tunes from country cover bands. Also would make a great wedding party destination with large private dinning rooms available.
