I love rough cut the food is amazing I’ve never had any complaints until tonight. :( my burger was a little to done, we barely got any good fries it was all the scraps and the soft pretzel was hard:( maybe it was just a off night but I hope it’s amazing the next time I come like it normally is

If you aren’t a local or regular you can forget about good service, bartenders were at the corner with the regulars chatting it up while we waited to get served and ignored , I tried to strike up a conversation several times but the bartenders were not friendly and I would think this being a country bar they would be happy to have new customers but that’s not true here, I’m in the biz so the cost of drinks was good and if the bartenders were more personable and attentive I would have tipped more then 20% Don’t order mixed shots, they are all mixers, if you want a shot do a straight bourbon, tequila or whatever and they are 1oz instead of a 1.5 Oz shot which is standard I won’t be back and I am local, but would rather take a 30 minute drive and go elsewhere where my business seems to matter

Food and service is fast and good. Best Pittsburgh style salads around and they have really good ranch. Their lent frish sandwiches are amazing.

Bar food was very good. Prepared well and served hot!

Burger and fries were really good. Well worth the value! The acoustics are not great for a band, because the crowd noise drowned out the band. But I would definitely stop back for the food and service.

Great food and nice choices for wing sauces. On tap beer selections feature some tried and true and some seasonal/specialty brews. They offer a good selection of entertainment types on the weekends. The bar and dining areas are large and they also have outdoor seating available.

Rough Cut is a little rough. Been there a few times now, because I rarely go by first impressions. Dining area and tables are pretty clean. Bar top almost always in need of a wipe down, crumbs from previous patrons are quite visible. Food is on the higher price. The pretzel is HUGE and tasty. The wings were well cooked and seasoned. Fries were tasty like "potato patch" fries. Burgers were burned, and I guess it's depending on the bartender whether you get glasses or plastic cups for your beer. Everything comes out on paper boats, and had to ask for silverware and napkins. If I'm too hungry to travel anywhere else I would consider eating there, but no this would definitely not be a "hey let's go there again" kinda place.

We had the burgers and a fish sandwich and all were very good. Fresh cut fries and generous portions. Still a 5 star for the food even though the bathroom is so dirty
