Rotunda Brew Pub - Brewpub in Hershey - 814 E Chocolate Ave, USA

Overall we were pretty happy with this local brew pub. The service was great. Friendly staff, and the chef and a owners both came out to greet customers. The food was awesome. We wish they had a little better beer selection. It's mostly sours. The bourbon selection was impressive for a brewery, but the bourbon cocktails were just average. Happy hour specials were great, so recommend hitting that up!

such an amazing restaurant! we booked a reservation here for our anniversary, and shortly after i was contacted by a staff member saying that they double booked that time slot for a breast cancer fundraiser. i appreciate how quick they caught the mistake and their eagerness to reach out about it to get us in for a new time! the restaurant was very clean and had an amazing, cozy vibe to it. the staff was super friendly and the food was amazing! my fiancé LOVED the cowboy bison burger, and i highly recommend the mac & cheese skillet. the house bbq is to die for & i wish they had it in bottles!! we will be returning sometime soon for sure :)

Tough decision on whether to give a one- or two- star rating here, but I'll go with two because the atmosphere is pretty cool, my old fashioned was average, and the service wasn't terrible. The food, on the other hand, was well before average. This, plus above average prices, equals low rating. On top of this, they have a credit card surcharge, which to me is a slap in the face of the customers. My new year's resolution is to avoid going to places with a credit card surcharge, which actually seems pretty easy to achieve. Most places aren't so disrespectful of their customers.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The food is fantastic. We had the brisket burnt ends and the deviled eggs. What really makes me think twice about returning is the service. The waitress didn't put any effort into giving us options or helping us with the menu. She didn't try to even pretent to be accomodating when I asked some questions. There were some beers I really wanted to try. I asked if I could buy one can instead of a four pack. The waitress was very condescending, telling me to look on the other side of the menu for the draft list. She gave me no options at all, which is a shame because I love beer and probably would have bought a 4-pack to share with our group but she basically shot down that idea. I understand that we were a "big" group (we were seven) but the place wasn't busy and a little bit of courtesy goes a long way. She didn't even asked if we wanted to buy anything to-go. She just brought the check and we had to ask. I also find it curious that there's no way to buy a beer to-go from the ones on draft. Can't we get a crowler? If the option exists, it wasn't given to us. The sad thing is, I know Rotunda has some great beers because I've have some in the past. But I would be hesitant to recommend this place to others. I know local breweries where the beer is great and the service is top notch.

We chose to splurge for our 25th wedding anniversary. Took my wife out for lunch/dinner before a concert at the giant center. It was the afternoon of a Thursday so of course no problems parking or waiting for a table. Wife loved the venue and the bartender was friendly and extremely helpful. TVs are available to watch different shows in the taproom. Dining room is available for a more formal sitting arrangement. We got the lobster roll and bison burger. Food came out in a timely fashion hot and fresh. New beers had just gotten delivered and on tap. Very nice place to stop and eat, talk and have a good time. Directions- go straight through Hershey on chocolate avenue, as your going out of town look for the sign on the right.

Not even joking. Some of the best beer I ever had. The Grape Nerds sour was terrific. The stout was as good of but better than Guinness. The food was huge and filling. Our server was bright and attentive. What an awesome find.

This is the first review I have ever posted. I usually don’t find it to be worth my time, but there’s a first for everything. Don’t eat here!! They served all of the kids spicy ketchup with their kids burgers which they were unable to eat. My wife ordered a smoked salmon blt and this is what she got. Terrible lack of communication/care from our server. Also, every food item ordered to temp came out wrong (all undercooked). Ownership/Management should be embarrassed.
