The park hours of operation have changed. It is now open until 630 p.m. in the Summer! Also, a lot of new additions are complete. There is now a bathroom and other amenities that have been added to the park including a new campfire type area where people can gather.
This is a great all abilities inclusive playground. The only drawback is its only open Thursday through Sunday 10am-4:30pm. There's plenty of benches and it's an open space so u can see across the playground if you have multiple children. No trees for shade and I don't remember seeing a restroom. The playground features are are amazing and its in construction for expansion! The San Jose Airport is practically next door so you will catch plenty of low flying planes overhead for your plane lovers.
Super cool park with very unique features like a seesaw, climbing area, concrete slides, and a very nice bathroom area. One neat feature about the park is that it has a gated fence around the whole park, nice for little ones who like to run.
While the new addition to this park (zip line, more shade, additional swings, and climbing area) are all nice, there are other areas that are in desperate need of
repair. The large seesaw has also been removed, which is disappointing. Hope to see repairs done soon, because it really makes the playground look rundown.
I’m not bougie nor picky but this place was not worth the visit. This should not be in the “visit San Jose”.
This playground is situated/built where homeless people reside, they’re still there (see pics). Driving here you can see a homeless encampment, the park itself surrounds several tent of homeless people. The fence around this playground is about 20 feet high and is locked from every evening. I’m guessing to keep homeless people from going in and taking shelter here. It’s also the flight path for aircrafts, it’s loud every 5mins with planes coming.
Some complain in the reviews that it’s closed due to rain etc. I can see why they close/lock up this place after dark.
Very nice play area and kids would love it. Couple of hours can be spent easily and creative setup out there. There is mini rock climbing, bouncy, swings, seesaw and many. Neat restrooms and plenty of sit out areas for parents. It has about 40-50 free parking spots. Close to SJC airport and so plane spotting is bonus.
This one became one of our favorite for my daughter and myself :)
Love this park! Perfect for all kids. However the hearing sensory overload. Planes constantly going by but if you like planes strongly recommend
It's really nice and very accessible for all types of people. I like the swings, slides, and the sipline.
Me and my brother and I pretended we were Indiana Jones on the obstacle course.
I think it's very colorful and nice. I like that the floor is made of foam, for if we fall, we don't hit ourselves quite as hard.
From the perspective of a "big" 12 year old, this is an awesome place. The sip line doesn't make me feel like a fatty because it doesn't bend or crackle when I get on also the things feel pretty sturdy making it comfortable for us to run around without worring about getting hurt seriously. But there isn't enough shade.

Looking for a great place to take the road less traveled? Try this park, it is fantastic. Plenty of sandy trails to take a casual walk or jog and no bicycles are allowed. Look at the map photo for the relative size and circular walking paths. The rea
This has become our go-to for mountain biking in the Bay Area. Good for hikes or biking and trails are for the most part are kids friendly. You just have to be careful is blind corners for safety when the bikers are out.
A nice big park in San Jose with spacious free parking. Lot of chickens/roosters roaming around, varieties of fruit trees and most of them from other countries. Didn't see any peacock or sheep. Play area is under construction. Best spot for picnic.
This is a great park in Almaden. It's pretty shaded so good park to hit up when it's a hot day, even if there is not a water feature. Two separate playgrounds, one for the older and younger kids, although the one for the Littles is pretty big and h
Lovely playground for older kids. Has a basketball court too. Lush green grass and a little hill one can roll down. Beautiful picnic benches beneath trees. A very peaceful and pleasant spot to hang out for families and friends overall.
This park covers a huge area! There are lots of green spaces with nice walking/biking paths throughout as well as a baseball field, basketball courts, tennis courts, sand volleyball court, and BMX park. There are two main playground structures, one f
After so much of rain in winter 2023, the lake is so beautiful and full of water. Everything is blooming, the trees, plants, even weeds. Many ducks, swans, as well as several ducklings. Few sections along the trail south of Hellyer Park are still flo
First time visiting this park from Out of town. Beautiful lovely park for all ages. Full of little kids and older kids playground structures. The slides are fast and fun. The ground is clean and lots of wide open space to run around. Highly recommend

Dropped in to CrossFit Silicon Valley twice during the week I was in the area. Coaches and members were welcoming and engaged. I recommend giving this gym a try. I will be back the next time I am in the area.
My son - 12yo junior hockey player, joined VSS 2 months ago with his team mateâs recommendation. The goal was to improve the strength and speed on the ice, and I already see his progress, that proves the efficiency and effectiveness of this program
This place is such a gem! The food is incredible, atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The pepperoni flatbread with hot honey is really something else. And after a couple visits, honestly I could say the same about everything else we've tried. The owner

Learned something new today. Had no idea the athletes who did the Black Power Sign at the Mexico 1968 Olympics were SJSU graduates. Good piece of history trivia.
