Roswell Inn - Inn in Roswell - 2101 N Main St, USA

I stopped here because of the sign. I didn't expect much. I was pleasantly surprised! Friendly check-in lady! This is an older motel, but the room had been updated. A good size, clean, nice tile on the floor, nice furnishings and a nice, big bed. The bathroom had also been upgraded and worked fine. The bed was comfy to sleep on. It was cold outside and the heater worked well. The breakfast was pretty rudimentary, but the room rate was very reasonable, so I didn't expect much. All in all, a good stay and exceeded expectations! I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic place! The owners are geniuses. They took what would’ve been a bland, old motel complex and modernised it and turned it into something very cool. Completely remodelled inside and out, new paint, LED lighting, even new roof it looks like, it feels brand new. And the room was better appointed than most places I’ve stayed on this 3-week road trip. Nearly a full size fridge/freezer (plus microwave, coffee machine etc.) in a mere budget single room! |And my bathroom had been re-done with some high end looking tiles you’d expect in a 5–star hotel… and they changed all the doors and sockets and switches. All that for $59+tax was also the cheapest I’ve paid in these 3 weeks on the road. And they’re close to all the cool stuff you came to Roswell to see. Closer than the big chain hotels further down the road. No wonder this place rates #1. The owners have put some serious effort and $$ into it - they deserve to do well out of it. I’ll definitely stay next time.

Convenient small room in the heart of Main Street. It was very nice to park right in front of your room. Beds are super comfy. Bring slippers for the tile floors are cold in the morning! Great coffee service in the reception area. Nice to get a good cup of coffee at all times. The only thing missing was some alien wall decorations. 😃👽

A great place to "crash"! Our family of five was pleasantly surprised by how clean and spacious the rooms were. Convenient to park in front of your room and be located so close to restaurants and tourist attractions nearby. Be sure to bring slippers for the room also. Great coffee available and excellent hospitality from the staff!

This inn is so cute! It is a little older, but it is clearly well cared for and maintained. Our room was clean and smelled nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here if I am ever passing through again.

I wanted to love this motel so much--I booked it because of the theme, the location, the price, and the pet-friendly option. The young lady at the desk was amazing. So friendly and kind! The room seemed really clean (at first--more in a minute) and the bed was really comfy. We were just staying over on our way to Taos. Unfortunately, everyone was booked into rooms right next to each other and at 11pm, a really noisy group checked in next to us and proceeded to keep us up until 230AM. The traffic noise is really loud as well from the main road. There is not really a place to walk your pup, so be aware of that. The next morning, after showering, I walked barefoot on the tile floor. My feet were dirtier than before I showered. Obviously, they need a bit of mopping. Overall--it is what it is. Fun, kitschy them, but we were worn out when we got up to hit the road.

1 No shelves in shower was inconvenient.|2 Towels were small, scratchy, and of poor quality. Not enough were provided since they were so small. |3 Needs another chair in the room so two people can sit and eat at the table.|4 Rooms need better soundproofing. Booked this place before reading the reviews and was a little nervous, but pleasantly surprised! The room was perfect and it was nice to be able to park right in front of our room to unload our stuff. We booked because of the price and the cute alien! Room was very clean, didn’t stink like cigarettes (was nervous about that) and there were NO bedbugs (also nervous about that due to a previous review because we got that exact same room). If we come back to Roswell, we will definitely be booking here again. The only downside was the location. The side our room was on was a little creepy, but we had 0 problems with anyone around. Really good room for the price! Another upside was everything was so close. It’s on the Main Street so all the food and cool alien stuff is just down the street.
