We came in for a late breakfast, there was no wait. The service was very good, our waitress was very friendly and quick. The chips and salsa were DELICIOUS, this was probably my favorite part of the meal, the chips were big and thick and the green and red salsas were amazing. The food itself was a bit bland, no salt or seasoning on the eggs or potatoes, thankfully they leave 2 bottles of salsa on the table to help with that. The horchata was creamy and sweet. My boyfriend ordered a barbacoa taco on the side and it was probably the most flavorless barbacoa I have ever had and the onions that it came with were bitter. Overall, vert affordable, quick and I loved the hot, fresh flour tortillas, will definitely be back to order a dozen to take home.
Food was decent but prepared very slow. Chile rellano was the best thing we ordered. They leave salas on the table so you can refill for yourself so that was a plus! Restrooms were clean and staff was friendly.
I decided to go here because of the reviews, but I was disappointed. The meat tasted old and biscuits were unpleasing to eat. Rice felt like it was made in the microwave from the bag, super expensive for 3 people, it turned out to me 72$. The pancakes were 7$ for three and the size was disappointing. I’m my opinion this restaurant needs a glow up.
Tortillas were amazing! Coffee great! I ordered a carne guisada taco and a papas a la Mexicana taco. Carne Guisada wasn't as flavorful as I am used to but tender. I like this placs...but parking was lacking.
It was my first time going here. I had the chorizo plate. It was delicious not to mention the homemade flour tortillas. The service was on point.
Blown away on how delicious the food is and the service was amazing. Definitely recommend.
I got a Chicken Sandwich from Rosita's and it was good but I think that was the thinnest piece of chicken I had ever seen and when I asked for ketchup they gave little kid ketchup packets from a school cafeteria. They didn't even offer us chips n salsa but offered another table. My guest got a small menudo it was good but only enough for a small child. And it was a very small building probably the size of a average class room.
Late breakfast here on 1/21/2023. Wife and I shared the waffle breakfast combo. Excellent. Waffle was well done, hot and crispy. Eggs and bacon were cooked just right. Plenty of good, hot coffee. Easy street parking and access. Wait staff are very friendly and attentive. Great location close to downtown square. Pricing is similar or better than like venues in Lockhart. Nice break from BBQ and fast food.

We loved this little bar! The bartender Reuben, was awesome! They had a good selection of beers, including craft beers. We were each able to find a beer we hadn't tried yet. They also had some good whisky's so had to end with an angel's envy!
I went to Commerce Cafe for a late afternoon cup of their wonderful coffee. I also ordered the popovers (when was the last time, if ever, that you've seen popovers on a restaurant menu?) They are wonderful, served with savory butter and shredded gruy
I absolutely loved this place! 5 stars all around. Will did a fabulous job making us feel welcome as well as offering suggestions. Our coffee cups never got less than half-empty. The food was AMAZING! I will be back for sure, and hopefully, it is on
Really good food, the chips and queso was the best Iâve had in a long time. Sourdough buns on the burgers were nice. Careful if you get boneless wings, they basically come out as chicken tenders.
Wow! Just wow! We've been to the Black's in Austin, and it was really good. But this one in Lockhart was just amazing! All we had was the brisket and the sausage and it was the best BBQ ever! Sorry for all the exclamation points. I usually think th
