Rosewood Miramar Beach - Featured Reviews (896)
The Rosewood is a meticulously maintained property that is very posh, warm and inviting. The staff are amazing. We loved the beach restaurant for afternoon snack and cocktails. The adult only pool is a nice amenity. The only negative is the train that runs through the property, but the overall property is incredibly quite, as was our room.
An unrivaled experience. One of, if not, the best hotels in the world. Amazing setting, attention to detail is astounding, amazing food, every staff member is a superlative. Original Chagall paintings in the wall … just amazing. Expensive, extremely expensive. But damn well worth it.
I recently made a reservation at Reverb restaurant at the hotel, securing it with a credit card as required, with the understanding that there would be a $50 per person penalty for no-shows. When I arrived for my reservation, I was asked to wait and assured I would be called when my table was ready. After watching several others get seated ahead of us, I had to approach the host, who then finally seated us, seemingly forgetting about our reservation. The brunch itself was just okay, nothing remarkable. However, what really soured the experience was discovering later that I had been charged $100 for a no-show, despite being seated and dining at the restaurant. After two calls to guest services and assurances that the issue would be resolved, nothing was done. I ultimately had to dispute the charge through my credit card. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for a hotel that prides itself on being first-class. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won’t be returning to Rosewood.
We had a wonderful stay at the Miramar during a recent weekend visit to Montecito. ||Our room overlooking the ocean was lovely. Sitting by the fireplace watching the Masters tournament was a perfect way to spend a stormy Saturday. ||Every staff member we encountered from bellmen to waitresses to front desk staff were extremely friendly and personable. Of particular note was the responsiveness and friendliness of Javier, the hotel manager who dealt with a couple of issues on our behalf. He deserves special commendation!||Although the weather was not accommodating to these activities, the pools, beach and bocce ball courts looked like they would be really fun when the sun shines. ||And the two breakfasts we ate at the hotel were very good. ||This is an impressive property with even more impressive staff.
We had a fantastic stay at the Rosewood Miramar. The property is BEAUTIFUL and the staff is amazing. It is a VERY family-friendly hotel, and around 70% of the people there had kids with them — which we loved. Special shout to to Lawrence in the concierge for making our 6-year-old feel extra special throughout our stay. He even surprised him with a quick magic trick right before we left. We are big on service/attentiveness, cleanliness, and special touches and this hotel had it all! We live only ~2 hours away and have found our new weekend getaway spot! We’ll definitely be back.
This Place 💕 Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! 10/10! Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The housekeepers did an amazing job everyday we were there. We ordered room service multiple times and it was fabulous! We had sushi one evening and it was Great! I’ve stayed in sooo many places and this place is top tier. Lawrence the concierge went ABOVE and beyond to make our families trip a memorable one! Thank you to the staff, the management. What an incredible place!
The hotel itself is beautiful. The staff upon arriving couldn’t have been more friendly. The hotel is very dog friendly (with an extra cost) and they made sure my dog had what she needed. The food at Caruso’s tasted delicious. Sitting at a nice restaurant like this with my dog was really unique and special. The next morning, however, breakfast at the other restaurant was the opposite experience. Service was slow and the food and beverages were embarrassingly bad. It was the worst matcha latte I’ve ever tried and the smoked salmon bagel was disgusting. I only had a few sips and a few bites before I gave up. Something tasted very off about this food and it was very unappealing. Soon after, I fell sick with food poisoning. I spent the next two nights in my room in agony and not able to enjoy my trip. I intended to continue on a road trip after this, but was in no shape to leave, so I changed hotels and stayed there two nights until I felt okay enough to drive back home. My trip was ruined. Why Rosewood gets 1 star is how they behaved when this happened in addition to their lack of food safety and handling. At first, they seemed very concerned about me. The manager greeted me at my car before I left and apologized and promised to email me to make things right. He never did email or do anything whatsoever to make this right. Additionally, I was hounded by multiple calls that began, even as I was driving away, from someone claiming to do an “investigation” into the matter. There was zero concern for how I felt, but he pestered me with multiple calls when he knew I was still ill and changing hotels. I spent many thousands of wasted dollars at this hotel and ruined my entire trip as this was my first stop. The worst part is it took me TWO MONTHS to finally feel normal after doctor visits and medications. To say this is very disappointing for this level of a hotel is an understatement.
Nothing but the best here! Feel like a VIP if you're not one already. You will definitely be treated like one if you have the opportunity to stay in Montecito, CA's Rosewood Miramar on the beach. Our two night stay was fabulous! 'Ama Sushi' was our dinner experience the first night. Fantastic quality sushi, Sashimi, hand rolls, Entrées, miso soup, fine spirits and dessert. Excellent service from a professional and friendly staff. The fitness center was very clean and had a plethora of state of the art exercise equipment , free weights, treadmills, a stairmaster and many more machines to keep healthy and burn off those calories from last night's dinner! Complimentary coffee around the corner from the front desk. Breakfast reservations at the Revere Room. After enjoying a terrific breakfast we ventured outside to stroll the beach and watch the waves roll in. Lounged by the pool during the day and shopped at a few of their designer clothing boutiques. Rosewood Miramar was definitely a 5 Star experience and a wonderful vacation! The entire staff always had smiles and were so courteous. Fantastic, well maintained landscaping throughout the property. The rooms were top notch. Very fancy and very clean. Great job housekeeping! Front desk, in room dining, Valet, restaurant and pool staff all went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Thank you Rosewood Miramar!

One of my favorite beaches I've ever been to. Went with friends on a random day and there were a handful of people there. Easy parking by the street and stairs down or if you're feeling adventurous take a small jump down from the wall. Nice to walk
I was able to visit Jeannine's for breakfast and it is such a cute, cozy restaurant and bakery. I went twice in the week and both mornings I was able to walk in with only 1-2 people in front of me. The menus are at front for you to grab and while yo
