My visit to Rosedown Plantation State Historic Site was a delightful experience. After a round of golf, we decided to explore this beautiful place. The air was filled with the sweet scent of flowers, and as we walked through the site, it truly felt like we had entered paradise. It's worth mentioning that the admission fee was $20 per person, which we found to be a reasonable price for the experience. Highly recommend a visit!
Wahoo !
Absolutely stunning we went during the week we were the only ones there. Had a blast they have bathroom on property in two areas and were clean the tour guide had tons of Information to dish out . Definitely worth the visit
If you plan on visiting Louisiana, I recommend this place. It's beautiful. I plan on going back in the spring when all the flowers are blooming!
Only one thing bothered me during the mansion tour; the tour guide was a young lady. In my opinion, she was a little "strange," and she kept burping throughout the whole tour! 🫢🫣
My wife not absolutely loved it. So much of this house is original including the furniture. It is amazing. We have toured dozens of plantations and this is one of the most well preserved. You can tell so much money has been put into the restoration. Excellent job and reasonably priced. Currently owned and ran by the state of Louisiana. At time of this review it is $12 per adult for the house tour. Well worth it. Beautiful gardens. I recommend February or March when the Camellia or azaleas are blooming.
Absolutely loved it! Hidden gem! Only $7 for ground or $12 for grounds and whole house tour! STUNNING! Would totally recommend if you want to feel transported back in time and see 90% of the original furniture in the house! Our tour guide, Sasha, was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of history about the family and house! Lots of pictures as well of the family.
Beautiful home and great staff. The family and I stopped by on a whim on the way back. The gardens are beautiful and we had a great, very knowledgeable tour guide for the house.
I loved it here. We took a tour of the house and it was amazing! The tour guide was extremely thorough and could answer every question I had. Setting original everything really pretty things today into perspective. The grounds are incredible and you could totally spend a full day touring the property and the original buildings. Highly recommend and much better then the most haunted plantation in the same town. Loved it

An absolute MUST for anyone! Rooms were very clean and updated, Ms Stacey was absolutely the most pleasant person to deal with. We were greeted immediately by the owners as we pulled up to the B&B. The weather was pretty bad the night we stayed. At b
I normally get the meat by the pound Brisket and pulled pork shock are always excellent. However the pepperjack bodily balls are the best! Seating is somewhat limited you order at the counter and they call your number when your food is ready.
Audubon Market is one of my favorite stores to shop. It's always a pleasant experience when I go. The atmosphere is quiet, a very peaceful shopping environment and the employees are ALWAYS hard at work inside and outside of the store. The meat is so
