Filthy, 15 watt. Bulbs in lamps. Can't see in room. Bed Spreads holy & Dirty. Staff very RUDE. DISGUSTING
Nasty has roaches and a Crack house across the street if someone comes to visit you they charge them $20 they even ran outside to try and charge an Uber delivery guy that was delivering food to the only other person who was staying there maybe if polk county had a decent sheriff that wanted more than to be on TV these kind of places could be cleaned up or shut down
Way Over priced, they tried to charge even more when we were quoted on the phone and when they agreed to keep the original quoted price later they ended up charging extra anyways! Also someone was in our room with the bed all messed up when we arrived. So we had to wait for them to change the bed sheets straighten up. However the couple doing it was very nice and helpful.
Not bad for the price for a week. Owners Sandy and Dennis were attentive to needs and they handle any issues quickly. Although they need a few upgrades they are taking the time to remodel soon as well as having a new roof put on. They are fair and don't give any problems. I haven't seen any drug activity or loitering guests its actually really quiet. It would be nice if they had a pool or an ice machine but they will give ice if you ask for it. They have gotten all new sheets and blankets for the beds as well as using a laundry service to professionally clean the sheets. And the towels are no longer dirty. They have made a lot of improvement and worked on their customer service skills.
It was clean and bed bug free. The disclaimer is because most of then om thst strip are not. I gave it a 3 star because the walls have spots as large as your head where the paint is coming off. It's very old and outdated, except the TV. It was newer
Foe the past four years I stay at this hotel one or two nights every week. Rooms are clean and they change from carpet to tile floors new televisions and new beds.I feel totally save and I sleep like a baby. The owners are friendly and do there very best to make your stay enjoyable.
Room was pleasant. Front desk was rude. First of all I went to get a soda out of machine it took my money I said something to her and she said it was working fine this morning. I said keep the money. Then I went to turn on t.v. and the remote was missing.
First off, anyone with common sense that's a business owner should know not to be rude, without adequate & sufficient reason, to their patrons who are paying. The owner AND his wife are very rude! Attitude is unacceptable, for people whose business is a service-related one. As well, people have to pay to stay, which means if you want to ensure success, don't run off or wrongfully offend your customers, which, in turn, runs off your money. They get an attitude if you ask to see the room before paying. They get an attitude if you mention to them that something isn't working, (tv, ac, etc) or it seems (to THEM) that you're complaining about the highly piled up mountain of roach feces on the top of bathroom sink (yes, you read it correctly). You are NOT, however, given attitude beforehand, when you're paying your hard-earned money for a somewhat decent room. Three of us were staying & paying, BUT there were only 2 sets of towels & washcloths (dingy white colored, by the way) in the room. So, no problem, we asked for another set. They made sure to charge for 3ppl, & to tell us nobody else can come stay in room, although our room accommodated 4 (2-queen beds) but we were given an attitude about asking for, rightfully, another set of washcloth & towel. Beds/linen not clean enough, that we slept on top of the comforter. Saw too many roaches in an overnight stay. Air conditioner was NOT putting out cool air, but hot air. Was cooler outside than in. Flat screen television wasn't working. We asked about that, of course..yes, they gave an attitude! Had to get his so-called maintenance guy to come fix it, after we had traveled a long way & needed to rest. If you're going to be in business, in a customer-oriented environment, either DON'T have a bad attitude AND/OR KEEP it at home! These folks are in the wrong profession..

We are enjoying our 3rd year as a FBC Winter Haven member. The customer service is great and the boats are always clean and well maintained. The Chain of Lakes is a pleasant area to boat. We have also used boats at many other reciprocal salt water
Simply adorable I think they have a large variety of different items for sale. They even have a vitamin section and a food area wear there are food items to purchase. They offer free coffee and cold water to there customers. They are very kind people
