Rose Garden at victory Park - Garden in Stockton - 1001 N Pershing Ave, USA

Very nice park big enough to walk around and not too crowded. just sad the park has 2 bathrooms and people don't take care of it and it's a very nice bathroom too.

This place and park in general is beautiful. I took my daughter's senior pictures at the Rose Garden. I just wish people would pick up after themselves. It was a few days after Easter and there was some debris under the bushes from an egg hunt. Gave 4 stars only because...well it's still Stockton so there's always a chance you could get robbed after you enjoy the lovely scenery!

Absolutely a gorgeous rose garden to go and visit. Depending on the time of year, it can take quite a while to go through the entire garden if the roses are all in bloom. There are large roses along with miniatures. No matter how pretty the rose is, DO NOT PICK OR CUT; leave the roses for all to enjoy! I'm a total rose sniffer, and I like to stick my nose close enough to where I can smell the roses. Yes, I literally take the time to smell the roses. There are SO many varieties, and they all smell different; it takes quite some time to see them all. Each rose bush has a little placard by it telling the common and scientific name of the rose, so it is of educational value if you take the time to read while you are observing. The garden is managed by a volunteer "club" they used to get together monthly. I'm not sure how often they come together after pandemic. Definitely, I highly recommend coming to Stockton to check out this garden and this spectacular very popular park!

Like taking my Grandsons there for a walk (both toddlers)...not far from my home...the older of the two knows the route I take at the park and takes the lead ( feels really proud)...now in school; the younger Grandson I let him walk down the path until he gets tired...nice simple outing visiting the duck's and enjoying the Roses with my Grandson's...

Love victory park i walk there almost every day. Only thing is i wish they would fix the walkway as i push a stroller and the cement is lifted and broken in a lot of areas and my stroller isnt 4x4 so it struggles on the grass lol other than that great park i love it

Went to the park so my grandsons can play basketball, and seen the Museum, dogs, & the pond with the bigg bird's, my 5yr old g/s was amazed and they seemed to have vendors for snacks etc. The people visiting were nice and the grands enjoyed themselves. However, I didn't see the Rose garden? Maybe too busy watching making sure the kids were okayy.
