We were brought into this place by the free samples of fudge, and were not disappointed by anything else! The food is so wonderful and came out fast, the service was very friendly and accommodating, and we had a great experience on the patio with our very own table with a fire in the middle. Great spot we would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!
While on our weekend vacation we ate here every single night! There were so many options to choose from and everything was absolutely delicious. We found from other restaurants the lobster on the menu here were really large chunks of real lobster meat that we did not get anywhere else, at market piece. The atmosphere for the evening is quaint and personable with the gas lighted tables outside. The wait staff were friendly and accommodating with any requests. Ask for Samantha or Kevin, our favorites!!
Let me start by food and service is on point at this place. Lobster roll which was more like a sandwich on a fresh baked roll had a great bite to it. The bacon wrapped scallops were big bursting with flavor. The fried haddock was good but could use a little more season in your breading. But at that point it’s just nit picking. My only 1 problem is why no delivery for such delicious food. I’m sure for the same reason I most likely won’t return. The parking or lack of. It was a three quarter mile walk up hill just to get lunch to go. Such a shame I digress. My suggestion would be to partner up with a local store like the craft shop and add a couple spaces for your take out. Would boost your amount of take out orders ten fold. All around a great bite and must try.
My husband and I had a wonderful meal there yesterday. The service was fantastic, the spicy caramel wings were absolutely delicious, as was their fabulous broccoli salad (and I generally dislike raw broccoli) but it was delicious. Without a doubt I'll be back in Ogunquit just to eat here again. Oh and that blueberry mule was also amazing, especially with the fresh, fragrant Maine blueberries in it. 10/10, thank you for a wonderful evening.
We had a delightful time at this charming restaurant. We had crab cakes, lobster bisque and flatbread and I thought I died and went to Heaven the food was SO good!! Excellent service and super cute outdoor spaces. It was chilly but we were warm and snuggly in our little space. I cannot recommend this place high enough for its overall incredibility!
Good food and drink at decent prices. Waitstaff is friendly and attentive. We ate outside in October, and were well protected from a light shower under the tarp, and we’re warmed by a quaint propane fire mid table. The baked seafood dishes are delicious, highly recommend.
This was my first visit with some friends. They offer a nice setting for people watching next to the main street in Ogunquit, with a number of tables that also double as fire pits. There was no parking to speak of, so that is a bit of a drawback. The service was just fine, but our waiter had a nose ring dangling down... not a great fashion statement and not the setting for free expression. Anyway, he was friendly and did a good job. The food is a titch on the high side for the portion they provide, but the food quality was good. Cocktails ranged from about $12 to $16, but beer was $7-9, a bit more reasonable. Personally, I wouldn't probably go back unless friends wanted to. It just was a "good" in my opinion, just not too impressive. If you found this review helpful, please tap the thumbs up to let me know. Thanks!
We were offered fudge as a free treat and couldn't get past the amazing smell so we popped in for lunch. The lobster bisque was not the best the day we were there. It was bland and so thick it was the consistency of nacho cheese dip. The fish and chips however were to die for. Some of the best fried haddock I have had. Very light but crispy crust perfectly cooked. Calamari was also to die for. And even the house salad was delicious;lived the addition of berries and fresh broccoli and mushrooms. What a way to elevate a simple salad!! Service was impeccable and the front porch ambiance was exactly what we were looking for.
Love this place! Weâve been here about half a dozen times, most recently twice in mid-December 2023 for a special occasion. The food is always uniformly good (this time, lobster and spinach salads) and the service is always excellent. Javier, a man
Barnacle Billy's is a great seafood restaurant in Ogunquit in Perkins Cove. They do not take reservations; it is seat yourself style where you order at front at the counter and they will call your number to be picked up when it is ready. I have alway
