My wife and I tried RosaBees for our first time on Tuesday night. We had heard good things and we were happy to find that it lived up to the hype. Our server, Hunter, was very helpful explaining the menu and made some very delicious cocktails for us as we waited for our food. We tried the Musubi, the Huli Huli Chicken and the Belly Bowl. All were fantastic and packed with flavor, but we did have to box some of it up in an effort to save room for dessert. They have a very extensive dessert menu that we could not skip, so we tried the Ube Haupia Pie. Each component and layer was so delicious by itself but the combination of everything in one bite was to die for. We highly recommend this very cozy and cute establishment and we will certainly be back soon. Cheers!

Love the food, the dark vibes, the sake and cocktail menu, really great food, perfectly prepared. Clearly a quality kitchen putting out food with care. Our waiter ignored us in favor of sidework until we were finished otherwise I definitely would have liked to try some more of the spicy sauce and an extra cocktail.

Nice place to go to for a decently fancy dinner. Menu is a bit confusing to understand. Environment is good. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Bathrooms are available. The truffles are to die for. Make sure to save room for dessert. Tons of gluten free options. It is nestled back in a nice area with a decent amount of parking. Our server was very kind and attentive. Definitely a great place to come for something a bit more than a casual dinner!

First time having Hawaiian food everything was fresh & delicious. The portions were just perfect. Highly recommend the Ahi Tuna Poke as an appetizer. Also, give Musubi with Spam homemade which was delicious and the galbi the coconut rice was a surprise which went very well with the meals.

Amazing food, yummy drinks & great vibes. Ray and Mere/Meredith (sorry if I am off on names/spelling) were great. We came for my husband’s birthday and they put a sparkler in the dessert we ordered-so fun! Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great dinner!

One of my very favorite in Asheville, and I do eat out a good bit. I've mostly needed to have reservations and tbh one of the few places I would actually bother with something like that. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality and amount of care that goes into the food. The portions are good for most things. A couple years ago I had a server who had a lot of fumbles, but tonight we had Taylor. She was truly an excellent server and knew the whole menu very well. The friend I brought is a sous chef in a much larger city and said it was by far his favorite of all the restaurants he went during his week in Asheville.

This place is super popular and the atmosphere is very cool. But the food was trying too hard. They took classic Hawaiian dishes and attempted to elevate them however the food came across as pretentious. Flavors were one note and most dishes were under seasoned. The poke tasted strongly of wasabi and the flavor of the fish was lost. The wings were just okay. The boiled peanuts were served cold which detracted from good flavor. The coconut sticky rice was okay but bordered on mushy.

We had a lovely dinner at RosaBees. We arrived early for our reservation, knowing our table might not be ready, and were seated at the bar for a cocktail. Tori (sp?), Our bartender was busy, but very friendly, and had some great recommendations, both to accommodate my friend's dislike for pineapple in one particular cocktail, and for a lovely white wine that paired well with all my food later on. There was a very large table seated in the dining room that made the atmosphere a little less cozy than it might have been on most Tuesday nights, but the space was lovely. Our server, Hunter, was friendly and attentive. The wings were crispy and flavorful, and the sauce was a great cool, crisp balance. There were a couple of things that might have been executed a little better on our entrees, but overall the flavors were great and the dishes were creative. I had the sea scallops, which were cooked perfectly, and my friend had the belly bowl, with a sunny egg added on. My only small complaints were that the potatoes under the scallops seemed like they had been over mixed and allowed to develop too much starch, which made the dish feel heavier than I would have liked, and my friend's pork belly wasn't as crispy as expected for a dish with crispy in the name, and a little overly salty (and we both love salt). However, the desserts made up for any small shortcomings in the main dishes! Warning - if you order the cake flight expecting the usual small portions of a few different cakes, you would be mistaken! There are 3 full size slices of cake on the plate, and enough dessert for 3-4 people, probably!!! All of the cakes were very different, and all were delicious. The paradise cake was fruity and had a delicious rich buttercream frosting, the coconut cake had a matcha flavor that complemented the coconut very well, and was light and not too sweet, and the black chocolate cake was dark and had a drier texture that made it not seem too heavy. We also (see the warning above) ordered the peanut butter brownie bombe, and the chocolate mochi cake was spongy and warm, the peanut butter mousse was creamy and not too heavy, and the whip on top was the perfect pairing. I will definitely come.back to try some other items on the menu another time!
