Root Cellar Resort and Dining - Resort hotel in Marenisco - N11071 E Shore Rd, USA

We stayed at the Cellar for 4 days in Oct. It's off the beaten path and very quite. The dining room has wonderful food, the Prime Rib dinner was great., The rooms had a good view of the lake, and were very clean with a microwave, coffee pot, and small fridge. We will go back, price for the great large room we had was very good.

We stopped here on our SXS trip. Service was good! Had drinks no food. Left and blew a belt on one of the machines. We towed it back two miles to this place. They were super nice about letting us leave it until the next morning!!! Thank you so much!!!! Hope to stay at your place one day! It has beautiful views!

We had a good dinner here, we came for the Saturday Prime Rib special. The restaurant is nice sized and feels cozy even though there are a lot of tables. The prime rib comes from n three sizes, it includes the soup and salad bar and your choice of starch/potato. Lexi was a great server. Our dinner was a good, the prime rib was a little tough but had great flavor.

We came up for a utv weekend with friends. The service was fantastic, the rooms were clean, beds were fine (pillows were on the firm side. Bring your own pillow if u prefer a softer one) the rooms were clean, and there is an on-site restaurant/ bar with an excellent salad bar and great prime rib on Saturday. Ask the bartender for his new salted caramel brownie after dinner ice cream drink....YUM! We will be returning.

I have rented a lot of rooms traveling over the years and these rooms were the cleanest with the best room lay out. the biggest shower you can imagine. Very friendly people with a first-class dining room. I highly recommend.

Stayed in the Bears den 1 time and the Mallard cabin several times. Used it snowmobiling, is a great place to come back and relax with Bar and Restaurant in walking distance from cabins. Fun!

I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a well cared for, laid back establishment. The proprietors are very helpful. The facility is clean and updated. The grounds are lovely. We also liked the restaurant very much.

Beautiful view! Friendly manager. Clean rooms, although our mattress had a big dip in the middle (room 5). Good food and drinks at the restaurant.
