Highly recommend. Hands down, the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever eaten. My husband ordered the spare ribs with an old fashioned. I got the siren drink and it’s well worth it. Both drinks were great and the food was top tier quality. Fresh, vibrant, mouthwatering flavor. We had an appetizer as well but I’m forgetting the name. It’s pictured here.
The location is clean, open, airy. We went for lunch and it was light but not too bright or hot, as it can sometimes get in Miami. The decor is wholesome and homey, makes you feel like you’re visiting that cool aunt with lots of fine China and dainty knickknacks scattered about.
The service was excellent and everyone working here seemed friendly and down to earth. My husband and I can’t wait to go back and try something new.
we were in the area and the menu looked good so we popped in for lunch. Leon, our server, was super friendly and did a great job of answering all of our questions and made some solid recommendations.
we tried the drunken deviled eggs, the biscuits, the table side hot chicken, and the farmer’s salad. all of it was delicious and we were really impressed with every single item we ordered. for dessert, we had an espresso and a peach cobbler. it was amazing!
we’re excited to come back and try some other items!
Very good location, busy but not too crazy. Restaurant decor was nice, server Ceasar was excellent. He made recommendations ans they were spot on, we had chicken and waffles ans the fried chicken sandwich with a side of mack and cheese to try. Everything was hot, fresh, seasoned well, and tasty. Definitely going back. Parking has a lower level area and street parking that can be hit and miss with open spots. I don't give 5's across the board often but this one was great.
This restaurant was in all ways FANTASTIC! The food was delicious and Leon our server was the best server I have ever had. I travel often and around the world and he is exceptional. I plan to eat here every time I am in Miami. Thank you!
Too busy for us maybe????
Restaurant was empty and we were told they would have to see if they can seat us by the hostess. No one was in there but a few people and they just opened. Like what?
We should have turned around but, we drove out of the way to check them out.
We arrived here at about a little after 4pm in the afternoon on a weekday. My daughter saw good reviews and added this place to the list even though it was out of the way. We decided to give it a whirl. We were committed.
Maybe they did not want us to partake in the happy hour. Not sure the deal. We were not there for that. But if we were, we were paying customers regardless. My husband, 2 daughters and my son in law were with us.
The waitress came over and never told us that they were out of certain menu items.
My guest tried to order 3 items and the waitress all of a sudden tells us that she was sorry they were out?
Ummm .. didn’t you just open AND where were all of the people that you reported that day that were supposed to be coming? We stayed for about an hour and the vibe was not cool. Decor of the place was nice but we did not feel welcomed at all.
Not cool Root & Bone.
Sharing a few items I guess they did have in stock. Was just ok.
Wonderful experience! We placed our order at the tail end of the 4-6pm happy hour, and the cocktails were refreshing and strong. The Shrimp & Grits were incredibly flavorful, while the Seared Florida Flounder was light yet filling. Our server was attentive, warm, and quick in taking our orders and getting our drinks/meals out to us. All in all, the vibe here is classy, welcoming, and eclectic, definitely spot-on for a more intimate Southern dining experience. Would recommend visiting for dates, drinks during their amazing happy hour promotion, or for anyone who wants some delicious Southern-style food.
Root & Bone serves quality Southern food in a trendy setting. We were there around happy hour, enjoying half off cocktails and some tasty appetizers. (I highly recommend the pork belly bacon and Grandma Daisy's Angel Biscuits.) The half-rack of ribs was tasty and plentiful. While the mac and cheese wasn't bad, I would choose a more adventurous side next time. Overall, a nice place top enjoy some Southern comfort food!
Great place to eat, service was great! Leon our server was very attentive and friendly. The food came out quick and hot. It was so delicious and filling. Will be returning to try other items on the menu.
The best gym around! The coaches are fun but also push you to your limit. The people that attend are all really nice. The only downside is parking as it is sometimes hard to find but the garage next door has a free hour available.
I've ordered from Pura Vida before but this is the first time I ate here. The service is excellent, very friendly and attentive staff. My food was delicious and it came out very fast. And the ambience is very cute and welcoming.
Small Quaint park
With great shading and forestry this is a great spot to come and relax or have a small picnic. There is picnic tables and trash cans spread throughout the park as well as beautiful stone benches located in great shaded areas.

What a hidden jem ð! Great place for locals to just come and chill. They have board games, open mic nights and handmade crafts plus great tea. Would recommend it if you are looking for a place with a welcoming vibe.
What a great find! Excellent service, love the ambiance and had the best comfort food dinner. Fried chicken that was moist and full of flavor on top of yummy mashed potatoes. Followed by a skillet chocolate chip cookie. Delicious! Will definitely be
I came here for the first time and I loved the ambience. The staff were so helpful and they answered all my questions. They also have a promotion for new customers where you get a free doughnut if you download their app. Itâs a warm, friendly donut
WHAT AN AMAZING FIND!!! Being born in Brazil, Iâm so used to and love Portuguese food, we were looking for a different option other than Cuban food in Miami hehehe and we came across Old Lisbon.
EXCELLENT food and service! Tainá was super helpful
I donât know how Iâve never tried this place before⦠food was delicious , service and ambiance was great!! Patricia was so attentive and willing which made our lunch very pleasant ⦠my husband ordered the dinner special which was very good -
The place is really good. I can guess that is family owned and operated. Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive. I think that the only thing this place needs is a better location and upgrades to the restaurant.
