We had the best time here last night. The food was creative and tasty. I love the story of this place. They grow many products on their farm that they cook here. The wine list is extensive and great. Such a great vibe. Abby the bartender was great and split our dinner without even being asked to do so which made it so much easier for my husband and I to share. We will be back when we are in the area.
A bustling, fine dining experience, Ronin offers delicious, high quality cuisine with an effort to provide local "farm to table" options when available. It was extremely busy the evening we visited, and despite having a reservation, the hostess lost us in the "chaos" of the evening. We waited 50 minutes for a waitress to take our order. Despite the long wait, we had a wonderful time and the food turned out perfectly. Due to the extended wait, we were offered a complimentary dessert, which was appreciated. We may not have had the best experience for such a fine dining establishment, but we had a wonderful evening regardless. Reservations highly recommended.
Many of us had a really bitter vegetable in several of our dishes. I think it was a turnip but it was just so bitter. No one in our party was able to enjoy the taste and ruined many of our entrees. The steak was good but felt it was too expensive for the ounce size. Staff was nice and was trying to be accommodating for our large party on a busy night,
I’ve been to ronin a few times before… this is the first time the food was “just ok” at best… the portions were much much smaller than previous time - the “shrimp pasta” was laughable (legit the size of an appetizer) - we had to order another main. Even the roasted chicken has been reduced to basically a chicken leg. Not sure what happened but def sad as this was a go to spot for me… :(
We were in the area and wanted to celebrate our anniversary so I made a reservation. We arrived and they sat us promptly but our server never came to our table until we asked for one. Yet, other parties that arrived after we did were attended to immediately. We missed happy hour and when I asked if we would get a discount being that it wasn’t our fault that no one took our order, the server said she would ask. We did get the discount but we learned about it when we saw the check. The server was very dismissive and not engaging at all. Not sure if this is the norm but we went there because we had seen really good reviews. Not the anniversary dinner we were expecting. The food was good. We ordered the chicken fried steak and blackened shrimp pasta and esquites.
After wanting to come here for dinner for a while, coming here and eating was a letdown. We had oysters, a dessert, and a couple drinks here. The dessert we got with succotash left much to be desired. The drinks were alright but very overpriced for what they were, and the oysters were pretty good but strongly tasting of spinach. It was a disappointment.
So this farm to table restaurant in an 108-year-old ice house something so unique that's we had to visit. Be sure to read about the history on the website.
The simple decor is really impressive especially the floating tables that hang from the ceiling.
We made sure to get there before 6:00 p.m. to enjoy the cocktail happy hour. We were not disappointed. They were really good and unique.
Defeated self was really excellent. Unfortunately there's not many vegetarian options. Though I could eat the sweet potato croquettes all day.
The souffle was amazing. Highly recommend it.
Ronin is a delightful, quaint farm-to-table restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere and impeccable food. They source their food from local farms all around Texas (including Ronin Farm). The porch was super peaceful and there are rocking chairs and porch swings. From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out the doors there is nothing great service.
Each dish is spectacular. The chefs just know what they are doing. The food took a while to get out but was so so worth it.
To start we got the beignets with peach carmel sauce. They were light and fluffy. Perfect amount of sweetness.
For main dishes we got the omelet, fried chicken, french toast, and wagyu tacos. They were all fantastic. So so delicious.
The omelet and tacos was so fresh and flavorful. The french toast was perfectly cooked and not soggy or drenched with syrup.
All the coffees we ordered were awesome! I really recommend this restaurant for a weekend brunch with friends.
Amazing burgers and Fresh salads, our waitress was a very friendly middle aged lady who made us feel welcomed and served us on time.
Their Nachos can improve.
A Bryan old-timer told me about this place when I asked where the best burger in BCS was. She was not wrong. Noe burger was indeed the best burger I have had in town. My bride had the breakfast quesadilla which was also on point. The folks behind
Had a great server, she was very attentive and quick, my Fiance and I both had Meatloaf, the food was hot and came out quickly. Food had nice flavor. We will definitely be back again.
Great food and super friendly service. I like that they added a full bar. I'll definitely be back. If the rest of the food is as good as the Chicken Fried Steak then I'll be there often. Glad to see a new business in DTB. The homemade mozzarella stic
I wish I found this place sooner when I move to Bryan, TX. One of the best and affordable 2-bedroom apartments I lived at and will immensely miss living here. The apartment is spacious and well-kept. It was a huge perk to have a washer/dryer unit the
Had a great brunch/lunch with a dear friend who lives at Miramont. The potato soup and mimosas were so good! Very simple meal and hit the spot. Presley waited on us and did a great job. Sheâs very kind and personable. Canât wait to go back.
What a great find! Best milk tea in town by a mile, I love how sturdy the cups are. Buns are great - custard, and the hot dog one heated up, and the Szechuan fries are perfect. Itâs so comfortable if they werenât busy Iâd happily work there and
I LOVE small family owned businesses! The food here is made with love and the folks cooking and serving were so sweet. Several of us had brisket plates, some had sausage plates and the rest had ribs. Homemade sides feom macaroni and cheese to black-e
Took a ride out to this spot today and it did not disappoint. Great burger and friendly staff, with an inviting atmosphere. They also have a wide variety of hamburgers and fries, only down side to me was no avacado but that's alright maybe they will
