The Roman spa was the perfect place for our family to stay during our wine country adventure. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The pool and spa were amazing! We spent at least two hours in the pool each day. I would definitely stay there again!
The Roman Spa has not changed much since I have been going here since a kid in 1976, with exception of renovations to todays standards and upgrades to the property. This is a place to stay to get away and relax with no frills. Roman Spa is a wonderful place for quiet time and healing or rejuvenation of the mind, body and spirit. Highly recommend.
poll was pretty dirty with lots of plant material floating in the water. had a problem getting pool towels. room was clean but dated. actually was fabulous! bed was very comfortable. nice to have a fridge. location was great close to everything.
Went for massages and used the pool. Was very nice, pool has indoor and outdoor spa. It is located in a garden setting and very relaxing. Nice outdoor seating. A good place to spend a relaxing afternoon. Have not stayed in rooms, just day trips.
Older property or It would have received a higher rating. Spa services are Fantastic Best massage ever. Location was awesome close to everything, walking distance for most. Food recommendations, Busters BBQ/Pacifico mex/ Hydro grill all had great food!
Accommodation was nice. People were nice. They have 3 pool areas and maintained pretty good, too. But spa,,, we tried volcanic ash mud bath and surprisingly half right side was warm but the other half was cold, and the lady in the front desk seemed like she didn't want to be there.
Such a great time! Very relaxing, Massage Therapist was very professional. Great massage and she was attentive to my needs. I would love to come back soon. Pools were lovely.
The people, rooms and pools are the best. Rooms are quiet and clean. Great location. You can park your car and walk anywhere in Calistoga

Amazing family friendly ambiance and great menu including vegetarian friendly items. Cocktails are great especially happy hour 3-6 pm. Food was well cooked. Servers Tony and Alexandra are attentive and quick! Go for a quick bite or lazy evening out.
