Daily admission is $5 and monthly is $40, which includes the pool. You really can’t find a better place for the $ in the entire Howard county. I recommend bringing a yoga mat towel if you’re planning to use a mat in their gym, and a small towel if you plan to use any other equipment to cover the seat. I’ve been coming here for years all seasons I don’t use treadmills but out of like 5 they only have 2 working left, one of which makes horrible screeching noise as or August 2022

A true Family establishment. I joined roger carter center in 2017, originally due to its vicinity to my home. Then I got spoiled: before 4 pm, there is no wait for weight machines or cardio equipment, the pool has at least 2 lanes open at all times along with play hours for the wee ones, a lovely outdoor beach-like area where people tan, and a wonderful staff. The manager, Julie, takes the operation personally, and it shows. Always clean. Always well staffed. Many many hygienic wipe stands. And even a large lounging area. During med school, I would attend roger carter center for my studies. It replaced the library. Some days I’d spend 12-14 hours on a table, studying, taking 10 minute workout breaks every hour. Never once did I feel unwelcome, even though I must have used a lot of their electricity.

It's a nice place, but parking can be an issue. There is garage parking but it's not that convenient. Center it self is also some time crowded. And employees don't take much interest in keeping up the facility, a lot of stuff is quite beaten up.

This is a really nice little community gym/activity center. Excellent variety of exercise equipment, from free weights to machines, including plenty of cardio. A walking track overlooks the indoor basketball court (there is also an outdoor court!) and there are plenty of rooms for small classes to large meetings. There is a large pool that allows for classes and lap swimming, and in the summer opens to an outdoor area with chairs and umbrellas, plus water fountains for the kiddos. Inside, to the left of the front desk, there is a wide two-story-tall climbing wall. The Roger Carter Center has something for everyone! Best thing of all...It's much less expensive, yet has just as many, if not more, features as some commercial places. And the annual price for senior memberships can't be beat!

Great community center with a beautiful pool facility. The staff were helpful and the locker rooms were very useful. My only complaint is that the price for lap swimming is a little high compared to other areas pools. Other than that, this is a great community center.

Great indoor pool & outdoor splash pad (for very young children) with lifeguards. Indoor pool has roof that opens so on non-rainy days you get to see the sky and feel more connected to outside. Showers and locker areas are kept very clean. Gym with track to walk around along with basketball court. There are plenty of cardio machines, so you aren't stuck waiting for one. They also give swim lessons. Friendly staff and very clean facility.
