Beautiful Gates of Hell and Adam and Eve - classics of Rodin. I thought these pieces were in the permanent exhibit in Philadelphia at the Rodin museum and apparently no. So glad I came here to view these.
Wow!! Amazing place to visit.. Really enjoyed to see the beautiful structures, status, building and much more. Had great time with my husband.. Feeling prestigious!!!
Gorgeous sculptures in a beautiful setting.
There’s ample areas to stand and admire the sculptures or to sit with friends.
It’s a very walkable area, and not too crowded on a sunny fall afternoon.
A great place for meetings or just to appreciate the art during a nice city walk.
Haunting and magical. The space itself is a little drab but the sculptures make up for it. I used to sit out here with a sketchbook in my teens, studying the forms of each sculpture.
We went to Arizona Cactus Garden and then saw this place on Maps with good review. Hence decided to check in and I'm glad we did. The Hell Gate was incredible. What a great creation by Rodin. The place won't disappoint you. There are benches to sit so you can have some relaxing time at this place.
It’s on the smaller than other parks but has a good collection of sculptures and a good balance of sun and shade with plenty of spots to sit or setup a picnic blanket. If you like this park, you’ll love the Rodin museum in Philadelphia.
Absolutely worth doing if you’re planning to go to the other museums at Stanford (and they’re open), but if you aren’t a die-hard Rodin fan it might not be worth a drive out of your way. However, definitely a nice place to sit for a while with a coffee or just to contemplate life, if you’re already in the area.
