Rodeway Inn - Hotel in Salina - 429 W Diamond Dr, USA

We chose this location on our recent drive across the USA. The room is clean and tidy but the carpet looks a little tired. Close to I-70 and opposite large truck stop but no issue with noise. Staff friendly and helpful. Free parking. Food outlets close by but would recommend a drive into town to Hickory Hut Barb-B-Q. Budget accommodation and based on price would recommend.

Pros: |Inexpensive, close to the highway, clean, friendly staff, coffee maker in room, microwave, fridge with separate freezer, nice treed view out window, breakfast (didn’t use)||Cons: |No elevator, no king size beds on first floor available, we are 65 plus with back and knee issues, hauling our luggage up stairs was not an option for a king size bed which we had reserved. We settled on two queens which were comfy soft with bed toppers. ||We would have given it an extra star if it had an elevator. We didn’t mind an older hotel, it adds, for us, to the ambience. If you want a more modern hotel experience look elsewhere.

Had two different rooms both room not clean pubic hair in shower greasy residue on. Night stand stained bedding one room second room clearly not clean chicken. And change on floor ! Outdated needs repairs broken door locks doors don’t close fixtures are nasty shower curtains are moldy not clean !! 75$ a night for gross rooms the place smells moldy ac wasn’t cold in both rooms walked away too gross unacceptable

Location is perfect, room was clean and everything worked except the tub drain (wouldn't stay plugged, drained OK). Coffee was average-bad, breakfast is a joke (no protein), price is right. For what you pay, it's a good deal. No regrets.

Pros: Location is just off the highway Room was passibly clean Value was decent at less than $70 Cons: Room was musty, but lessened after running the a/c and bathroom vent for a while No remote and tv didnt turn on manually. (It was definitely plugged in) Couch was stained and crusty as well as filthy under the cushions (which we found while looking for the remote) Toilet was loose at the base, but otherwise clean and usable The washcloth included in the tub was "clean" but had a full days worth of makeup in it and should be replaced. Mattress was extremely soft, which some people like, but i do not. Other: Some of the fixtures, while functional, were rusty or badly corroded and need replaced

Location is perfect. Right off the highway and walking distance to restaurants and gas stations. Price is way cheep and even though you get what you pay for plus I'm a self employed cleaning lady, so of course I cleaned the room before settling in, it wasn't too too bad for the price actually and the man that checked me in was very nice, quick, and really helped me out and continental breakfast being included is also a major Plus for their price as well! Overall not a bad old place.

Horrible experience, i’m 20 years old with nowhere else to go. no vehicle either. Booked a hotel just to find out i have to be 21+ to check in. Front desk man said we had to leave and cancel our reservation because we couldn’t stay in the lobby. Where else am i supposed to go and how am i gonna get there. spent our last few dollars on this hotel just to be told we have to cancel our reservation and leave. Do not stay here. they don’t care about your situation.

On our recent driving trip we stayed a several budget hotels while traveling with a pet. This was the worst. Get what you pay for? Felt dirty. Shoes stuck to the floor in breakfast area. Easily heard conversations in next room.
