Rodeway Inn - Motel in Baltimore - 1654 Whitehead Ct, USA

Positive: I'm not a smoker but my traveling partner was; so while I was afraid the room would smell like cigarettes but I was pleasantly surprised that the room smelled clean and was pleasant. Negative: I called the Front Desk several times from my cell phone because there wasn't a phone in the room and no one answered the phone. The room on either side of me was yelling and it sounded like they were moving furniture around at all hours of the night.

Positive: The staff was nice enough. I couldn't get into my room and one of the staff members drove up right away and gave me a new key. That was nice of him. Negative: The room and the building it was in (third building at the top of the hill) would have been an excellent location for filming a horror movie. No lie.

Positive: The front desk was very helpful. The first room we went to smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. He gave us a different room that didn't. The ac was also good. Negative: No smoke detector in our room, just capped off wires. Lamp was broken. The toilet made a noise everytime anyone in the row flushed. The bedspread was stained & had cigarette burns. The tub dipped down in the middle and felt like you might fall thru it.

Positive: Air conditioner. I stayed in the same Hotel in the same row last year and I actually like the experience this time around it was terrible Negative: the bed sheets smell like smoke and pee and not just pee cat pee had me breaking out gave my mother an asthma attack and the remote wouldn't work even though we changed the batteries for the television

It would have been just fine, but the smoke detector was completely missing. There was also a missing bulb and a slight hint of weed and smoke (in a supposedly non-smoking room), and not perfectly clean but acceptable, but whatever for a roadside motel, but the missing smoke detector was a really big deal.

Positive: It's ok. Some rooms seems cleaner than other ones. Roaches and kinda smells like smoke but it's a smoking room. Sheets looks completely dirty and off white. Bed seems like a blow up bed and hard. Ajax and bleach would help. I slept in my clothes Negative: Roaches and dirty sheets. No phone or clock Negative: ""

7/8/24 @ 3pm The first non smoking room I walked into smelled like cigarettes and had 2 huge wet spots on the bed cover. I went and got another room and this one had a strong odor of weed smoke. Theres no hotel phone in the room so I call on my cell to the front desk to let him know my other "non smoking" room smells like smoke. He said he will send someone to spray the room with air freshener. I jokingly said tell them to bring the biggest can they have lol this fool then hangs up on me. I call back, he wouldn't answer. 15 minutes later I call back and ask about the wifi and as I was about to ask what happened to housekeeping coming to spray the room, he hung up on me while speaking smh. I called 3 times and no answer. That unprofessional guy is too emotional to be in customer service. Terrible customer service from the front desk. And there was a dead roach on the counter. Dirty.

Positive: The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Negative: The room smelled horrible, had mold and dust everywhere. Needs a remodeling desperately.
