Rodeway Inn Wine Country - Hotel in Rohnert Park - 6288 Redwood Dr, USA

when i was checking in, there was a child at the front desk with the employee. the room we were initially assigned was filthy, including a condom wrapper on the ground and the old room key on the nightstand (included photos). i went to the front desk and showed the woman working a photo of these things as I did not want to say “there was a condom wrapper” in front of the child sitting there. she moved our room but it was still not much better with a torn comforter and still smelling strongly of cigarettes. (while i can admit it is my mistake for not realizing i booked a smoking room, that in no way excuses the fact that the hotel itself was filthy. ) my partner and i decided to stay elsewhere and when i went to the front desk in hopes of a refund, i did already feel bad doing this because i know she was not in charge of cleaning the rooms but that feeling immediately faded with how mind bogglingly rude this woman was to us. after i said we were going to stay elsewhere, she stood from her chair very aggressively and said in a very rude tone with an equally rude facial expression, “ well i talked to the cleaners and they said they cleaned that room last night and that it was you guys who made it dirty”. my partner and i spent all of 30 seconds in the initial room because we were IMMEDIATELY uncomfortable with how dirty it was. we both said how would we have made it so filthy in such a short amount of time, as well as leaving a whole new room key when i was only issued one? and the woman just shrugged and said “well i can’t give you a refund” and when i asked why she said “because you booked a smoking room that’s what YOU booked” which is NOT why we were leaving, so i really do not understand why she refused to give us a refund for the room WE DID NOT STAY IN, and was so rude? i have never been treated so rudely before and truly didn’t think this type of thing happened in real life. it was bizarre.

There really is only two reasons to go here. 1 is the price because you can't get much better than pay under $100 these days for any place and number two is the location. Besides that, this place is terrible! I just was here about 5 weeks ago and stayed in the exact same room, and the same exact things that were wrong or broken such as the shower head when I came here 5 weeks ago still have not been fixed! I guess that's what you get for not paying much, but it is quite a sad state. Employees arguing in front of customers when I checked in, no security and feeling like you're going to get robbed at any moment. People slamming doors screaming and yelling at all hours of the night and early in the morning. And just an overall uncomfort level of safety and security. I wish I wasn't so cheap and could afford to pay more but I've stayed at the other comfort inn about a mile and a half away and you pay twice as much there for not much better so I would rather go cheap than waste more money. Don't say I didn't warn you about this place but if you have less than a hundred bucks to spend, the beds are at least comfortable and if you can get past all the noise, you can get some good sleep. Don't expect any more than that. Oh, by the way the ice machine actually did work, which was nice. One more positive thing I suppose.

No road noise, typical Motel room. Not the marriott! However, no bugs, clean sheets Pleasant staff and close to everything that you need. We will be coming back every weekend for a one-night stay as the price was absolutely fantastic. Even though they might ask for $100 deposit? I use chime credit Builder and my deposit was returned the next morning after checkout.

This place is one of my favorites because it's cheap and the rooms are nice. I just don't understand the price hike on the weekends, cause it's the same room you had during the weekdays. I truly recommend staying at Rodeway Inn.

Very rude workers almost every worker was extremely rude even there rent a cop was rude and he tried to impersonate a real officer he said Rohnert Park police department as i was walking into my room and proceeded to ask do you stay here. I asked for the supervisor number and they said they can't give it to me. Would recommend motel 6 over this place. It's cheaper and better service. I felt very unwelcomed here. also my non smoke room smelt like a family of smokers have been living in here for over a year the phones are just props I guess cause they don't even work.

One of the best place to stay in Rohnert Park. The front desk clerk, housekeeper they are all very professional and helpful. Easy access to lots of nice wineries

Update after making this review I found that I had property missing including 2 checks that I endorsed and was not reclaimed. I am going to make a police report Everything about this place was terrible. They didn't have the information and their system correct? They were redoing the parking lot and there wasn't adequate parking. On a day when I was excited over the news and exercising my free speech out in the open common area near the pool. Some lady overheard me saying Trump is going to walk free after he was convicted and that this was all an excuse for Biden to get out of the debate. So they called the private security and they came and told me that I had to leave and that I wasn't getting a refund. Therefore, I will not use this place again and anyone thinking about going here keep this in mind that they are not tolerant of anything it is right next to a freeway and the place is full of losers. I hope this place gets turned into a parking lot for the nearby Home Depot and Walmart cause this Rodeway Inn should not be in business. This is not a place I would stay at for business Wine Tasting or anything. I would rather sleep in my vehicle. I took all my things and left and did sleep in my vehicle. There was not a single good thing about this place that I can think of.

Positive: The distance the hotel is to everything. Negative: The thing is disliked from this hotel is the cleanliness. Around the pool was filthy with cigarettes and trash.
