I didn’t even wanna leave a review because they don’t deserve even a star but it was so bad I had to. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! This hotel is not worth a penny I would’ve payed 3x the amount just to stay in something a little better than this. Hands down the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in my life not even Gordon Ramsey could save it. Owner was nice for the most part the women he’s working with was completely opposite. From patronizing us for our concerns of bugs in all 3 rooms we got to demeaning us when we ask for a spare key. I don’t understand how this places passes inspections. Please save your valuable time and money and stay as far away from here as you can.
UPDATE just finished my 2 night stay here. We slept on top of the covers because we brought our own blankets and didn’t trust the cleanliness rightfully so. Lifted up the covers before we left and found multiple dead bugs on the bed including many we found crawling all over the floor when we woke up. Mattress had a giant indent right in the middle of it so we didn’t sleep well. Found out some rooms have microwaves and fridges some don’t and none have a safe nor do they offer you safe storage (illegal) take that as you will but I 10/10 DONT RECOMMEND
The staff are very nice, friendly, and unique. Very helpful and accommodating to our needs. Clean rooms every time we stay here. Convenience stores available right next door and the fridge and microwave in the room make it easy to store and heat up meals.
I don’t appreciate how I was treated on the phone and they took out one penny out of my account and it took 2 weeks or more to get my deposit back ! I didn’t stay there, but I bought two nights stay for my son and his partner and dog. I don’t understand why I had to pay three different transactions so they could stay for the two nights. I will never let my son stay there again.. 😡
If I could give this place a negative number I would, several family members stayed here and it was a horrible experience for all of us. The rooms were dirty and full of bugs, the free WIFI was nonexistent, there was never anyone at the front desk, some rooms had appliances and some didn’t and most didn’t work anyway, the beds only had thin sheets for blankets and the mattresses were old and sunken in, they rent rooms by the week to transients who are always roaming around outside in the parking area, I don’t know why Choice motels allow them to use their name and I will be hesitant to ever book a choice motel in the future. I don’t know how this dump even stays in business, spend a little more and save yourself the misery of experiencing this place.
Let me see....how can I start this?!? Ok, so before anything, I check the reviews. Most of the low ratings says the same thing. It's molded. It's bug infested (stink bugs, couple flies and spiders). Over charge. Then the oddest things while I was reading the "5 star reviews" occurred. They said the service was great, and the beds are clean...but somewhat would mention the bugs, and the overpriced rooms...? So I said whatever, and book and room. I haven't been to all the rooms, but certain rooms don't have a mini fridge. Staff is only there from 9am to "11" pm...depending on who's there. There isn't any microwave. The ice machine and the microwave is located at the main office...which I may add is only open from 9am to "11" pm...again depending on who's working. The rooms are small and they stink....like mold. The bathroom is questionable. I haven't operated the window, so I wouldn't know if they had a screen on it or not. I'm guessing the guy works morning shift, because he's the one that knocks on people's door's at 9. When obviously check out is at 11 smh lol. So yeah. Hope that helps some of you readers thats suggesting booking a room here. FYI, motel 6 is Rodeway inn's.
