Room was little over $70 . Door in hallway worked fine but one that went outside our room the key wouldn't work & had a small gap at bottom with light coming through . We had a handicapped room that had a king bed ( maybe queen ) and sofa sleeper . Plenty of room for a wheelchair and shower had a fold down bench . Coffee pot , microwave & mini frig . Worth the price ! Will stay again
It's definitely pretty disgusting. I stayed here while visiting to see the eclipse, and it was $60/night. I knew what I was getting into with a rate like that when other places were charging $250/night. I just wanted a cheap place to spend a few hours here and there while waiting for the big event. This place served its purpose. That said, you better have a very high tolerance for the gross if you're staying here. The rooms are decaying. Stains everywhere. Heavy odor of cigarette and mustiness everywhere. No breakfast (the website claims they do, but considering the condition of the place I think I'd get something from the neighboring convenience store rather than risk any food they served). Furniture in the lobby that looks like something Goodwill rejected. The beds were very uncomfortable. The clerk I checked in with was very nice. She deserves to be working at a better place.
I booked 2 rooms on 5/9/24 for Tarleton graduation 5/10 for $145.00 a night. Criminal upcharging people while providing a rent by the hour establishment . Both rooms were disgusting. The rooms were dirty, smelt horrible and just plain nasty. Smeared crap all over walls and back of doors. My lock/bolt did not work, had to use a towelette to keep it locked. Did not feel safe here. Telephones in rooms did not work and neither did the remotes (they fell apart) and the batteries were held in by a piece of tape ! I used my cell phone to call upfront to ask why nothing was working and was asked to come upfront. She said she’d give me another remote and then said she didn’t know why the phones weren’t working! I took remote and she had the audacity to ask ME, if I had thrown/slammed the phone down. I said, are you kidding me? Of course, I did not. I picked it up to change the channel and it fell apart. Then she proceeded to find another remote and she literally pieced that one together right infront of me. Smh! I had to buy 2 throw blankets each for the 3 of us bc hair was all over pillows, nothing was clean. Nasty, disgusting and filthy. Bugs everywhere.I will never stay here again and you shouldn’t never stay here as well. They need to tear it down. I would’ve posted more pics but only had one.
Where do I even start. Just because you're a 2 star hotel, doesn't mean you have to be dirty. I've stayed at other 2 star hotels that are very nice and clean. Always take pride in what you have and do, no matter what. Room was bad, already came with pre-squished bugs next to the toilet, the paint was peeling off the shower walls and sink area, shower head was a little dirty, and the blankets already came pre-burned through for your convenience. All and all, skip this place if you can afford to. As always, individual experiences may vary.
Positive: My daughter and I were there for college orientation. It was close and easy to get to the college. We were near the back of the motel so it was quiet. Negative: No one was at desk to check in. Bathroom needed work. Only 1 towel, washcloth. 2nd bed was very creaky every time you moved. Back door not secured. Check out again nobody at desk, just a bucket for room cards. Negative: ""
The website is so misleading! I was looking for cheap.. well I found it! Hallways were disgusting and the room was musty, unclean all the furniture was stucky dusty dirty ! Not to mention our "double security lock" was missing .. I have 2 small children and I did not feel safe here! -10/10! The two towels that were in there we so nasty and stained up !!
The rooms were disgusting! Nasty sheets with stains all over them. The pull out bed inside the couch had old dirty sheets on it that smelled like a barnyard from all of the urine on it. The beds are hard as a rock! I told my wife that I would be more comfortable sleeping on the ground! Management is very greedy on how many towels and rolls of toilet paper you get. Not to mention they are super lazy! Also, they don’t spray. This place is infested with roaches and bugs! Poorly managed!!! Do yourself a huge favor and steer clear of this dump!!!!!!!!!!!
Booked a 1 night with 1 bed and sofa bed, got there and undid the sofa bed and found 2 needles. The rest of the night was unpleasant from how dirty everything seemed and appeared after Would rather sleep in the car, not coming back here under any occasion.
We had a reunion in town and chose Bull Nettle for pregame. Turns out, we should have just stayed there. The staff was trained and professional. They knew every drink I asked for. Management was front and center and very personable. Plenty of screens
