Talk about stark rooms! Blank walls, refrigerator stuck in a corner by the sink, etc. As a pest control operator, I routinely do an inspection before bringing in my baggage. I found a spider, a few ants and a cockroach. I understand it's Florida, but still. The room corners could use a better cleaning too. It wasn't a horrible room but I certainly wouldn't stay again.

Cockroaches, no microwave, terrible service. Saw at least two cockroaches a day. Room had no microwave although the fridge worked well. They do not empty the garbage daily which explains the cockroach problem. Give you one set of towels per person and you’ll have to exchange daily at the front desk which can take 20 minutes. Also, on my first day, a guy entered my room without knocking while I’m on the bed working. Good location though

Nice place in town right near shopping and food. Pleasant room considering prices. Not frilly but clean and quiet. Slept very well. Heat and A/C unit worked well and easy to use. Refrig, TV and coffee maker both worked well. Nice landscaping well maintained.

This used to be a decent place to stay but I’m so disgusted with the place after a stay last night. Had to come in the middle of the night when flood waters were surrounding our house nearby. I was too tired, stressed and preoccupied to notice the disgusting bed I was about to sleep in but When my husband came to pick me up in the morning he could see the sheet lifting on the one side and the mattress pad was absolutely DISGUSTING under it. They change the sheets and see this disgusting mess on the mattress pad and don’t change it? Just put new sheets right over top of it? It’s like pigs man this place. How would they like to have only a thin piece of material between their own body and this cess pool of filth?? I felt so gross after seeing it. I tried to pick to the phone and call the desk but the phone was dead as a door nail, not to mention the INCREDIBLY LOUD indescribable slamming noise that was occurring in the building somewhere ALL night long so no rest could be gotten. Upon check out, when I walked down to the desk to ask someone to come look she blew me off and said housekeeping would come change the mattress pad after I left. I told her I would be taking pictures and leaving a review and asked for some sort of a refund but she just said sorry she couldn’t give me any refund but would leave a note for management (much like other reviewers have said recently) and no one has called me yet and guessing they won’t. Do yourself a favor and check your bed before laying in it or even better, find another place to stay.

I booked a 9 day stay for training in a local facility. Their room had roaches and ants. I checked for bed bugs, and luckily they had none at that time. They cleaned my room only once with a towel exchange one time. After cleaning the room once , they did not replenish soap, coffee, or cups. The other patrons were extremely questionable. The door appeared to have been busted open at one time or another.

I have stayed here before with no issue. This is not the ritz. They redid the furniture and floors but the walls and ceilings and the door were rotted. But the kicker was the roaches walking across the bed when I woke up in the middle of the night. I told the guy at the front desk and he said he would tell the manager. Manager never got back to me except for a canned email that they send to everyone. Amazing what a year does to a place. Needless to say I will never go back.

This place keeps changing ownership. It has been slightly updated recently, which I appreciate. Definitely a budget feel to it but not in a halfway-house kind of way. I felt safe. I wish they'd replace the lighting, as it's unnecessarily very harsh. People who work there are nice. I stay because the location is close to the family I visit in Sun City Center, and there aren't many options at all in the area

Nice stay. I was originally a little hesitant to book the property because of the price, but was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the spacious Lobby and was greeted by a very helpful desk agent. My room was spotless, spartan, but very functional. Very quiet, I enjoyed sitting poolside during a day, and there are lots of places to eat nearby. I will be a return visitor certainly!
