We arrived at 11:30pm for a two night stay here late July. When we arrived, we were told that our room was damaged and they didn't have another room. They started calling other hotels to find a "walk over" (only at this point). After about 20 minutes they found a hotel about 1.5 miles away. They then sent us out to walk 1.5 miles down a busy road with all our luggage at midnight. It gets worse because the Roadway only covered 1 night at the other hotel and has not even refunded our second night there, which we were still unable to use as the room as not repaired. So we ended up paying for 3 nights of hotel stay instead of two because of Roadway's failure to resolve a problem that they caused. Can't review the rooms as I never even saw the inside of one. The location is hard to access as well. * Finally got a refund for one night after a month and having to call choice customer service and them having to intervene. We were left on the hook paying for a more expensive hotel that roadway sent us to and promised to cover. Believe all the negative reviews. Just don't stay here.

The lady at the service desk was super accommodating and even got us extra blankets upon request. She had a great energy and smile. Hotel was right next to the highway and making it an easy ride into Boston commons. While it didn’t have any super fancy amenities, the free parking was great, the room had an icy AC, clean bathroom, and clean room. It was affordable, easy to find, and nice and private in the downstairs rooms. There were Ton of restaurants nearby, the beach, and the shuttle service. We weren’t vacationing but visiting a sick family member and it made the commute much more manageable.

Place is clean I'll give them that. But you better check you credit card statement when you leave. I booked directly with their website for $121 plus taxes which i thought was a great price for the area. Arrived at the hotel to check in and was asked to pay a $15 nightly fee which I did. Got my room and it was surprisingly clean. Came back down to ask a question and had to wait as the clerk was having a conversation with a gentleman that apparently had multiple charges on his account from a previous stay a few days ago. The issue was he could show the charges to her on his phone where he said it clearly said Roadway Inn and she acknowledged them but she could not see them in the system and there was nothing she could do. Checked my statement a few days later and the same thing. I was charged the $15 fee plus a $17 fee the $121 fee along with a $161 charge. I called the hotel to dispute the charges and the only charges they could see was the $162 and the $17 charges, how convenient. Called choice hotel customer service and they were no help either. Had to dispute through my bank.

This place has upgraded and modernized a great deal. As someone who was born and raised not 15 min away I can say they have come such a long way the last ten years. I still until recently disregarded rodeway inn as an option even though it's usually one of the cheapest in the area. Last night I decided to stay there because of the location. The rooms are great, decent size bathroom, microwave, desk, fridge and closet all included. The staff is surprisingly and refreshingly very nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. The prices are always very cheap in comparison to many nearby hotels. They also don't charge a deposit. They do however charge a 15 dollar hotel fee that's non refundable.

**Worst Hotel Experience in 30 Years - Avoid the Rodeway Inn in Boston at All Costs** My recent stay at the Rodeway Inn in Boston was nothing short of a nightmare, marking the worst hotel experience I've had in three decades. From the moment we booked, the ordeal began. Despite the promise of an included airport shuttle, it never arrived. We frantically called the hotel over 10 times within an hour, only to be met with dead silence. Desperate and stranded, we had no choice but to spend money on an Uber. Only after we were en route did a hotel employee finally return our call—too little, too late. Our arrival at the hotel was met with hostility that left us stunned. The front desk employee, instead of offering a simple greeting, launched into an accusation: "You were the one who kept calling and hung up on me." This confrontational and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable for any guest, let alone paying customers who contribute to the hotel's business. As if the rude welcome wasn't enough, the front desk clerk attempted to charge us an additional $120, claiming our room hadn't been paid for, despite us having a paid-in-full receipt. The clerk's agitation and rudeness only escalated until she begrudgingly corrected the charge. She then admitted she was "at the store" during our desperate calls for the shuttle. Leaving the front desk unattended is not only irresponsible but poses a significant safety risk to guests. Entering our room, we were met with the most outdated and unhygienic conditions I've ever seen. The toilet didn't flush, posing a serious health hazard, and the bathroom light was non-operational. To top it off, the hotel is located right next to the freeway, with rooms lacking any soundproofing, making it impossible to rest. After our horrifying experience, further investigation revealed that many other guests had also faced additional charges and hostile staff. This pattern of deceit and mistreatment is appalling. To anyone considering the Rodeway Inn in Boston, I implore you to look elsewhere. This establishment is beyond redemption and should be condemned. It is not fit for human habitation. Avoid at all costs. This was an absolutely horrific experience that I would not wish upon anyone.

For the price point, this hotel is great! I was looking for someplace to shower and rest my head at the end of the day while visiting Boston and this does just that. The room was clean, sheets and pillow clean, fridge, micro, tv all working and clean. AC was already on and room chilled when we checked in. Plenty of parking. Surprise find- it is super close to Target and BJs wholesale if you forgot to pack something on your trip. It was a 5 minute drive to the wonderland parking garage and train station ($2 parking and a free 15 min train ride into Boston). The staff is great. The lady behind the desk during the evening is very welcoming and friendly. I accidentally deactivated my room card (don’t let it touch other cards in your wallet!) she was understanding and reactivated it for me, plus gave me an extra just in case it happens again. A gentleman on the day staff also very helpful with guiding me towards the parking lots (there were extra lots across the street from hotel). At $125 a night after all taxes and fees, this was a great find! I booked directly through the hotel’s website and joined their free loyalty program that gave some extra type of discount. I would definitely book here again if I visit Boston again in the future.

Unlike other reviewers I actually had a good experience. I missed my connecting flight so I had to find a cheap place to stay. Room was clean, bed was fine, service was as expected. I didn't wait that long for a shuttle maybe at most 20 min after calling. I mean it's not the Ritz or a Hilton but it was a solid 3 star hotel on short notice. I would stay again. My only complaint is it's hard to find breakfast walking distance. I did ask for a room on the opposite side of the highway per other users reviews

Its not the Ritz... But great rates to stay and park for extended periods; regular fast shuttles to Logan; room was very basic but clean and I found the staff to be very pleasant and accommodating. I will definitely use this place whenever flying out of Logan.
