To start, the location is great. You’re close to basically everything and if you don’t want to drive there are electric bikes and scooters within a 5 minute walk. I was a little worried because of the previous reviews but all went well.
Next, the staff were very friendly and accommodating! I had no problems whatsoever staying here. Our room was clean, large and comfortable. For breakfast, there’s great coffee, waffles, cereal and some other things. Overall it was amazing for the price and I’m glad I found it. Perfect for a weekend in Colorado Springs and close enough to manitou springs to explore there too. Would come back.
This hotel leaves a lot to be desired and falsely advertises a pool when it does not have one. |Maybe the poor condition of my room is not indicative of the whole establishment, but my room was in serious disrepair. The lights did not work in the bathroom or main living area. Only the bed lights worked, the hair dryer was burned and melted. Still plugged into the wall. The bathroom had a large access panel falling through the ceiling of the shower along with considerable water damage in that corner. But they decided to rent this room to me. I don't know if it was because they were very busy or because the entire hotel is in that pour of shape. ||Honestly not my first choice, this was a last minute desperate reservation because booking.com lost my actual reservation and for a better hotel than I had made months ago. There was nothing else available in town. Because of the state of disrepair and poor cleanliness of my room. And just the general clientele and noisiness I decided to skip the breakfast.
Positive: nice room; competent, friendly staffdid not like: grounds/premises need improvementRe "Would you recommend this hotel". I prefer to choose neither option, but I was not allowed to submit my survey without making a choice.Consider adding other options Negative: - lamest 'continental breakfast' I've ever encountered- dog nasty place. They even allow dogs in the lobby. Staff noted they were 'pet friendly'. They need to figure out a way to better accommodate people without pets, such as by segregregating those w
Beware of the additional deposit. We called to check rates and availability. The gentleman was friendly and quoted the room rate but didn't mention the additional fees.
We drove over, and after learning the additional fees, we decided against it. We went into Pueblo for the night.
Rooms are clean, nicely decorated and spacious. Water stays hot forever and the pressure is great. Toiletries however, are lacking. The subpar multi purpose bar soap doesn't rinse off completely and the shampoo looks and feels more like it was made for dishes than hair. Also no conditioner.
Breakfast choices consisted of diy waffles, toast or 1 of 2 cereals, coffee and milk . No juice, water or fruit offered and a sign stating if breakfast items are found in room a $25 cleaning fee will be issued. Also older gentleman whom I assume is the owner was very rude to my husband,
Positive: "" Negative: The room smelled chemical. We could not sleep good because of the people making noise and talking after midnight on the balcony. The breakfast was a joke.
If you're expecting the Ritz Carlton, not a chance, but if you want a clean room and a comfortable bed with a basic breakfast, then this is the place. The front desk guy was very courteous and let me check in early. I didn't smell any ounce of smoke. For $44, you get a lot for your money! Why spend $120 bucks at a holiday Inn for a bed & shower when you can save $75 and get the same thing?
Room was nice. Quiet place. A little out of the way from food options but overall had a pleasant stay.
My bride and I enjoyed our stay immensely. It took a lot to coordinate a wedding and therefore didnât get to spend as much time as we wanted to at Chateaux as we wanted but the evenings were filled with romance due to the ambiance of the house. Th
I have loved going to cambio for over a decade now. The teachers are knowledgeable, consistent, and have amazing flow (thank you, Caleb!). I donât think I wouldâve survived these past several years being back in Colorado Springs without the studi
