Sheets and linens had not been changed on the beds. There were stains on the beds. The rooms smelled like mold. It is the most disgusting motel I've ever been in. I was going to post photos but unable to for unknown reason.
Rooms smell like mildew, sheets and blankets had stains on them. Charged $100 a night. Horrible experience. The motel is horribly run down with only 1 restaurant near by. I'd never stayed here if It had been my choice.
My sister and I went here to look at a room to attend a funeral in town, but the room we were shown, had a bad smell, and surrounding lobby and outside area was filthy. Barbeque grills and broken down benches on grass as you drive up, lawn has trash and partially cut grass. I would only stay here in a extreme emergency where there are no other rooms in town.
We needed this room only to sleep in. The noise level all around us was the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel. We heard yelling very early in the mornings(5am) and could hear the TV through the walls. I killed 2 roaches and found a dead bug in the bed that resembled a bed bug. The room was overall clean but you get what you pay for --small worn towels, sketchy cars/people coming and going at all hours, and it is an old hotel. There was no smoke detector in our room. There are NOT a lot of hotel options in Sandersville. I think we would pay the extra 20-40 dollars a night to stay down the road.
The furniture & upholstery is old fashioned. The water didn't get hot & the iron didn't either. The TV only played a few channels. I was there for 3 days & no one cleaned my room. Until they do better, I'll never stay there again
the room overall was clean. However I did kill 2 roaches crawling around and found a dead bug in the bed that looked similar to a bed bug :-( The worst part was that the walls were paper thin. Heard everyone on all sides and the noise started very early in the am. There was also no smoke detector in the room. The place where it went was empty.
The hotel had out dated the furniture. The room we were issued initially had spider webs in the sink , toilet and bath tub, rusty shower head, the linen was stained the rug was filthy and so was the chairs. Roaches was in everyone of our rooms(it was a family trip), they issued us one room that still had someone occupying it. The only bright side was the clerk at the front desk provide great service. Multiple men were coming around asking for the same woman. Book with caution, we usually stay here every year that we com to the area, but this will probably be our last stay here.
Mid hotel at best. Sheets seemed dirty and pillowcases were stained, those were my two big issues. Other than that it wasn't awful. Not the worst hotel I've stayed at. Wouldn't want to spend more than a night because of the dirty sheets honestly.
The staff is nice and professional. The food is delicious. Price is way lower you might expect. The portion is Huge! On the photo is an order for two, total check was $33 (!)
What can you say, itâs a local landmark. Gets real busy around lunch, but the staff do their best to get food out in a timely manner. To me itâs worth waiting for. Oh, if you like peanut butter, the peanut butter milkshake is worth the drive.
We moved to Sandersville a couple of months ago and discovered little family owned place. We were pleasantly surprised on the quality and flavor of their food. We always order take-out so I can't speak to the buffet but I can say that everything that
