I'm a firm believer that customer service goes a long way. Is this the fanciest hotel you could stay at? No. We have seen this hotel through several different ownerships. Our recent trip we encountered our customer service experience with Jack. We recently had a car accident and both our backs are in pretty rough shape. We stay here pretty frequently and some beds are worse than others. Though the hotel has done a good job of upgrading the majority of the beds, there are a few beds that need to be replaced. We have a list of the rooms we prefer. Jack was so amazing in helping us with the best rooms that were left since the ones on our list were occupied. With the car accident, we hadn't been down to visit in awhile. Jack said he remembered us and welcomed us back. For myself , if the customer service is awful, the stay won't be much better. Give this hotel a try. The rates are very reasonable even in the summer.

My mom came into town and it was a holiday week. Needless to say it’s a busy time and rooms are limited. But not only were we able to get a good price, right off the water. But Pia was the front desk agent who assisted. I only mentioned that I booked the room for my mother. But she was very customer service centered and immediately asked if I would prefer a bottom floor for my mom. I was very surprised this wasn’t something I had to request. She was also quick to tell me of a few locations that were outstanding near by should she need something! Bravo 25 years in customer service and she is the first to really stand out in a long time!

Dirty carpet, no blankets, mold on ceiling in shower, unable to lock bathroom window (1st floor).|But price is good enough considering the great location, parking is close to room and well lit. Quiet for a Friday night. I think it is overrated on trip advisor.

My experience had been great every time that I stayed at this hotel. The staff is very courteous and professional. I had been there a few times and I had seen that they do their best to keep the hotel clean and properly working.

Hidden gem. Absolute value. Peaceful, comfortable, close to everything. Beach access and fun all so close. Delicious restaurants, everything within walking distance. Simple rooms, plenty parking, safe, uncomplicated. Will definitely return.

WARNING !! BED BUGS ..Room 113, when checking in management was pleasant and addressed a booking issue with no increased charges. Toilet was stopped up on arrival and that was addressed and fixed with a plunger. Tv had screen issues ... 3 bright spots that made it painful to watch...thank god for cell phones ... Now I see why they needed to keep our booking/stay with Them. My poor husband has bites on the back of his neck, arm and legs. I have stayed at this motel before and though amenities are non existent I never had bed bugs. Ive stayed at a few Roadway motels and have never had bed bugs. I can handle a lot BUT NOT BED BUGS!!! Choice Hotels, their sponsor has also been made aware!!! Husband has bites on his legs, arms, and neck.. I wont share pics as to not offend delicate eyes. UPDATE: I did call the office this morning to inform them of bed bugs AND All I was told was that management will be notified.

Booked through Choice Hotels and couldn’t be more disappointed. Booked two rooms. $150+ for each room. Not cheap. So expectations were normal. Room smelled of mildew. Dirty and stained sheets/box spring covers. Ceiling fan covered in dust/ no ceiling light cover on bulbs. Ripped lamp shades. Torn curtains. Worn and chipping furniture. Black stained carpets. We kept all our belongings on the table. Dirty shower with mold in corners. BTW use some bleach it goes along way to clean those tubs. Walls were paper thin. Would never recommend nor will I return.

Awesome place to crash at! The service is impeccable and the staff are friendly! The rooms are very clean as well! What more can you ask for?? I will be coming back when I visit.
