I got a room here all in with tax for under $70. For this price point, this is INDEED a 5 start motel! Booked on the central Choice website as we were getting close to town. Check in was easy and the front desk manager was SUPER nice. We chatted a bit about dinner and he sent us to a nearby Mexican restaurant that was absolutely amazing. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Even the towels were decent. Quiet motel and we got a great night of sleep. Great location that's walkable to anyplace downtown.
I am giving Rodeway Inn 5 stars. Is it as nice as the Hyatt? No. Is it a place to book for that romantic weekend get-away? No. However, it is a very reasonably priced, clean, convenient room for the night. The staff was friendly and check-in was easy. I liked that instead of a tub, the room had a walk-in shower that worked well.
A couple minor negatives: The A/C had been disabled, but it was cool enough outside to open windows. The fridge was noisy, but I just turned it off.
La Fiesta, the Mexican restaurant across the street behind the motel is VERY good. For breakfast, take a very short walk to McAdoo's--a breakfast experience better than you deserve. You can thank me later.
Great rooms on a budget! Amazing value compared to some of the bigger chains. Clean and clearly carefully maintained. No issues, was great to stay there overnight and get some good rest on cross-country drive.
Instant oatmeal and fresh fruit in the morning were a perk too.
Older motel that has been nicely maintained and some updates completed. The room was large, simply but amply furnished and very clean. Fridge, microwave, small coffee pot, tv, ceiling fan. A nice tile shower with low step in. Breakfast is simple continental breakfast served at a bar in the office to pick up and take to your room. Rodeway Inn is in the downtown area making it easy to walk to museums and restaurants. The price is quite reasonable.
Don't let the low price deter you. Great place to spend the night! It is a basic, safe clean room for a killer price. Bed was comfy and sheets were soft. Quiet location. Definitely would stay again on our way through.
Management was nasty. If you drive and are the right color I guess you're ok. But if you have PTSD and are an Army veteran. You better steer clear. The rooms were excellent and well kept. The maids were actually extremely on point. If you have a PTSD breakdown and can't breathe. Don't stay here. The manager is rude as all get out. He thinks it's funny to accuse me of doing drugs and drinking. When the hospital took draws of everything and I wasn't on one thing according to the hospital. Must be a skin color issue. Racism or something not sure. But the rooms were clean and the management was nasty.
The rooms were old but fairly clean. It's in need of a full renovation. Damage on every surface. Their pet friendly but if you pay through a 3rd party they expect you to call them and let them know. 25 dollars per pet.
