Rodeway Inn - Hotel in Dunmore - 1027 Harry P O\'Neill Hwy, USA

Stayed for a few nights with my family first night we were there we found a live cockroach under one of the pillows and a live mouse in our room throughout the rest of our stay we saw cockroaches in our room. The room wasn't very clean and the water to shower and the sink had a weird smell to it. There were also blood stains on the mattress and bedding also there's no smoke detectors in the rooms. Thank God we brought our own bedding with us. I do not recommend this place to anyone. They also don't do extended stays either they will tell you only 2 days and then you have to leave. To whoever posted a review stating that place needs to be condemned they are absolutely right about that. Just horrible.

I was disappointed. Non-smoking room was not scrupulously enforced as such. The location is very rundown. But, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and I slept very well. The bathroom was damaged on one side and in need of a repair I could do with some joint compound. The cleaning staff does well making the room as presentable as possible. Only, I think, since the hotel has not replaced broken towel rack and TP dispenser, it was a good idea to put towels, TP, and toiletries at the sink. Bather just needs to remember to take a towel into the shower. Staff was friendly and helpful, too--a plus. If they weren't so nice, I may have gone elsewhere because the room was obviously smoked in or adjoining rooms are affecting the air quality.

My stay here was a pleasant surprise that redefined my expectations for motel accommodations. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the thoughtful touches, like the high-pressure shower, added to the overall comfort of my stay. Despite its affordability, This place didn’t skimp on amenities. The complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, perfect for catching up on work or streaming my favorite shows. The location was another highlight, providing easy access to both the serene countryside and the vibrant city life. Checking out was as smooth as the check-in, and the warmth of the staff’s farewell left a lasting impression. It is a testament to the fact that great experiences don’t have to come with a hefty price tag. I left feeling refreshed and grateful for the hospitality that had been extended to me.

I was stranded truck break down, great room next door, Wells Fargo, Sheetz (food!) Convenience store, Starbucks across the street. You can use cash as well, great value for $65.00 during the week day. Manager Drew was fantastic.

My girlfriend and I were supposed to move into our new apartment but the landlord is stalling, so we ended up with no place to stay for the 4th of July holiday, and because we had just put so much money into the new apartment, financially we didn't have much to work with as far as making new arrangements. Thank God for the rodeway inn in dunmore. The gracious owner and staff at this facility welcomed us and provided us shelter and a very pleasant overall experience for a very very reasonable price. The Wi-Fi service at this stop is impeccable. Best I've had at any hotel I've ever stayed at because normally hotel Wi-Fi are known to be pretty shoddy but this one was great. Very comfortable beds, clean sheets, clean rooms, tasty eye opening coffee in the morning which is another gratuity afforded all the guests of this motel, but most of all as I mentioned earlier, it was the warm hearts and friendly attitudes of the staff that really made this trip a great experience for us. I highly recommend the rodeway inn in dunmore, I wish I could give it more than five stars. One of my favorite parts of this room was the mini fridge. It kept my drinks really cool because it was really hot this past weekend. I'm going to miss this mini fridge. Plus the room came equipped with the smartest Smart TV ive ever had the pleasure of pointing a remote control at. It was with a heavy heart that we had to leave the rodeway, but we will be sure to return. Thank you to the staff and owner may God bless you and your families

I love this place..This place has been good to me as I am always on the road for my job I've been here every weekend for the last two months and the staff is very personable and I feel they are like family to me..The rooms are always very clean and unlike other reviews ..I have NEVER seen one roach or crawling insect in my time there .I love the place and I love the people that live there,God bless and see you soon

COCKROACHES IN BED! Do not stay here. They didn’t have another room to offer me, and said “your money will be back in a few days” and left me out to dry at 4:30AM July 31st. I see other reviews now seeing this place needs to be condemned and they’re right.

The room was clean. The bath room door lock was damaged, but shower and toilet were no issue. Over all I was satisfied with the price and cleaness.
