They’re very clean. Customer service is very nice as well. I love how they keep up with their property and make sure everything stays clean. Workers are very nice. They greet you. When you come in and out They accommodated us with everything that we needed even with my service animal and it’s Right down the street from Six Flags, A few minutes walk, which is really nice
Rooms are clean and location was just what we needed for Six Flags.
Required a $50 deposit for non-smoking yet the ENTIRE BUILDING smelled of weed. They kept the ac off too, very warm. The ac in room made it okay though.
Says breakfast but only has cereal and milk.
Says pool but sign says closed indefinitely.
Bummer
Rodeway Inn at Six Flags Over Georgia review (July 9-10, 2024)
Location:
The hotel is located within a 9-minute walk of Six Flags Over Georgia, which was a huge plus for me since I live 5 hours away from the park. After a long day at the park, it was a relief to be able to quickly get back to the hotel, rest up, and be ready to head home the next day.
Amenities:
The hotel advertises free parking, Wi-Fi, a pool (which was out of service and empty during my stay, and other guests have mentioned this issue for over 2 months), and breakfast (which was a major disappointment and a borderline disrespect to guests, as other reviews have also noted). I arrived at 6:30 AM for breakfast, and all that was available was cereal, coffee that was way too strong for my taste, and something they labeled as apple juice. The management is clearly aware of the subpar breakfast, as they don't even bother to remove the chairs from the tables to set up the breakfast area). It's worth noting that several guests have also mentioned a strong odor of marijuana in the lobby area.
Room:
Upon entering the room, the air conditioning was off, and with the outside temperature at 95 degrees Fahrenheit, the room was uncomfortably hot. It's worth noting that the air conditioning did work quickly once I turned it on, and the room cooled down to a comfortable temperature. This issue had also been mentioned by other guests in reviews. The room itself seemed clean upon entering, and the bathroom was clean with fresh towels. However, I later spotted a small cockroach crawling on the wall, indicating a poor pest control system. The beds were very comfortable, and the linens were clean. The room décor was decent and inviting. The room includes a small refrigerator, microwave, and the overall layout was functional.
Staff:
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Both check-in and check-out were quick and easy.
Value for money:
I paid $87.14 (including taxes) for a one-night stay. They have a $50 smoking deposit, which was waived since I don't smoke. For me, the price was reasonable given the convenient location, but not for the lack of amenities they advertise.
Suggestions:
I have a Six Flags membership, so I'll be visiting the park often, but I'm still considering whether I would stay at this hotel again. The hotel displays a plaque in the lobby indicating that it won a Gold Award in 2024, but in my opinion, this award is highly overrated. I would suggest that the hotel management address the issues with the pool, breakfast, the odor of marijuana in the lobby, and improve the pest control system.
Overall:
While the hotel's location is convenient for Six Flags visitors, the lack of working amenities, the subpar breakfast, and the observed pest control issue are factors to consider when making your decision. There are other hotels in the area that may offer a better overall experience for a similar price.
The lobby smelled like weed.. but the people who ran the place were very friendly. The price wasn't too bad.. Great walking distance from 6 flags..only negatively thing to say which isn't fault of owners but one row of cars were.broken in window.busted out. Oh and no elevator!
Not so good for Class B, you can get one in here but parking lot is more for cars. Check in was fast and efficient. Does require $20 deposit. Room is clean. Not much in way of eating places. Wendy’s is in walking distance. No coffee maker for those who like coffee in their room.
It was excellent, we were on an extended family vacation at 6 flags over Ga. We had several children ages 3 to 12, and family members up to 78 years of age. We enjoyed our stay. The beds are extremely comfortable. Rooms are spacious and nice, with a microwave and fridge which came in very handy. The staff were
very friendly and helped with all of our needs. We will definitely stay on our next trip to 6 Flags.
The staff is welcoming & friendly! The check-in/check-out processes are simple & fast!
The price of rooms is very affordable, especially considering they are so close to Six Flags, walking distance actually! The staff is very accommodating to guests needs! It feels like home!
The rooms are clean & presentable! The beds are comfy. The tv offers many channel selections.
The hotel feels safe & secure at all times!
The pool is welcoming & indoors!

Best Mexican food we have found in Georgia. I'm originally from California and finding good Mexican food is difficult in Georgia. This place has delicious food and great service. I got the Carne Asada fries with the meat on the side, and my partner g

I love juicy crab. This is my first time at this location. Itâs family friendly and spacious. The food was cooked fresh. Shana was my server and she was amazing. She was knowledgeable of the menu and special and advised me accordingly
This coaster was running extremely fast on my first visit to the park in 5 years as I got 2 rides on it both day and night. The drop felt intense when I boarded on the third row into the back in order to feel the floater and ejector airtime this ride
