Rodeway Inn by Choice Hotels - Hotel in Decatur - 1507 US-287, USA

We stayed Saturday evening. Had a very nice stay. Only one issue. I accidentally left my bag of hang up clothes. I have tried to call many times to see if the bag is in the office. No one will answer the phone. I am in South Texas and do not want to drive across Texas is they do not have my bag... Thank you for the fast response. Please leave a voicemail with a number that I can call back. I am working and may not get to the phone in time. Thanks again

My mother came here for a little getaway. These pictures are the from the room they put her in. They eventually put her in a better room. My issue is that these people know exactly which rooms are trash, and yet they still put people in there with hopes they won't complain. They had better rooms available, but actively chose not to utilize them. Rooms like this should be off the table completely to paying customers. It's unsanitary at best, and disgusting.

You were really tired. The internet. Even the website advertised free breakfast. We got there. We are so tired we never even looked in the bathroom. But the next morning we found a dead roach in the corner. And there was feces on the back of the toilet. On the wall. The Sheets Were nasty. Thank goodness that I had our own to sleep on. Decided to go down to the hot tub. So that I can relax because it had been a long drive. I got in the hot tub. I got out cuz it was nasty I stayed in maybe 5 minutes long enough to relax my muscles. I regret it now because I developed some kind of a illness from the bacteria. It's like a parasite. They apparently put pH balance and their water. The past the water test but it is not clean. And then in the swimming pool when I was swimming in there. You can see a big hole in your wall. Like something was probably in and out. In the water come on now it is nasty. Very outdated. The only thing that I can say was they allowed smoking in their smoking section rooms

I have been trying to contact them all week but no answer can anyone tell me if they have stayed recently do they have breakfast? Fitness room? Is the pool open? Please and thank you 🙏

My goodness, this place was terrible. I don't expect a whole lot from a very inexpensive hotel, but I do expect it to be clean. The room was very dirty, pillows looked as though they had just been thrown on bed and looked like they had been slept on. The pillows and bedspreads smelled awful! The grounds were dirty all around us. They charged us a deposit which was never mentioned when we made the reservation. There was not enough towels and the ones there were thread bare. Obviously, we will never stay there again. This was definitely not what we have come to expect from Choice Hotels!

Currently staying, everything is relatively run down and in poor condition. Booked a two night stay and got locked out of my room this morning when I shouldn’t have to check out until tomorrow. Difficult to get out of parking lot as it is directly onto the highway Hot tub and pool have no heat whatsoever. Don’t bother trying to save any money by staying here, in the long run it’ll cost you more in disappointment.

I would like to share the experience at this hotel it is a standard hotel which is very accommodating for the price it's worth it and has stayed at other hotels in Decatur Texas and as far as price ranges this one has no drama and feel a lot safer than the other ones that are in these price range it's clean and it's what's needed if you're just traveling through I need a night to stay I would recommend it over others there's no drama thank you for the good night rest and the customer service

Very clean very nice for a country small cheaper hotel. No breakfast but you saved money staying there!
