We loved our stay at this hotel. They are under a new management, so price and service were much better than previous management. Good location and nearby a lot of restaurants.
My construction company loves this hotel! Clean, great breakfast and there’s a restaurant within walking distance! New owners are awesome!
Positive: The price was better than most. Negative: Unloading area at entrance was blocked with vehicles so the only place to park was the handicapped space. Couldn't get in the front door (locked) to check in; had to use phone in vestibule to call manager to let me in. Negative: ""
Positive: They are renovating the hotel, and it is clean. Beds were comfortable. It is a place to sleep and that is all. If the price is under $--- and you want a place to sleep. It is great. Negative: It is VERY budget. Room is smallish. All amenities are budget. Pool was not available and has not been for a long time. Breakfast is very lacking. Negative: ""
Positive: The family that runs it , so friendly Negative: Would of liked the pool to be open
Positive: The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The person working the front desk seemed ready and willing to help us with anything. Sometimes hotel workers might come off as annoyed or reluctant to help, we never got anything like that here. Negative: The breakfast was pretty minimal quality, but a variety of options. Coffee, bananas, oatmeal, bread, pb&j, granola bars, milk, cereal, and yogurt. But there is a McDonald's right next door. Negative: ""
Positive: The hotel couldn't locate our reservation so we were turned away and needed to find another place to stay. It was after 10PM when we arrived, and we luckily found a bar where we could sit down and comfortably try to find another hotel. Miserable. Negative: Once the hotel manager said we had no reservation, he didn't even offer a new one. We left because the drunk man in the hallway didn't exactly spell that was a nice place to stay. Negative: ""
Positive: very close to the location that we need to go to. Negative: the continental breakfast that they offered is not what we expected to be, the other hotels that we've been too before has a way better breakfast, we end up going to McDonalds next to the hotel room for breakfast. Negative: ""
The rooms were what you would expect clean and quiet. The service is what made me rate this a five-star stay. This crew was amazing. Every single member of the staff I interacted with was phenomenal. They happily made any accommodation I requested. I
We parked here and hiked the ice age trail Verona segment (6.5 miles one way). Dogs are welcomed and must be on leash. Some parts of it is quite muddy, so come prepared. Beautiful hike with changing views.
I love to bring my cat here to go for walks on the trails through the prairies. It is such a beautiful perserved prairie space. The prairie is filled with native wild flowers. There are general walking trails, mountain bike trails, a playground, socc
This is the dog park we go to when we want our dog to play with other dogs! The field is great for dogs to run around. In recent years, it seems like they've figured out how to avoid getting big mud puddles, which is a huge plus.
Place was very busy which we know why now. So we opted to sit on the patio to avoid the long wait. Very sunny and very warm which rightfully so; it's outside. Might I suggest a sunscreen at least so you can at least enjoy your time outside even if
Having just moved to the area from out of state, this park was such a gem to find. The equipment all feels very new and updated, the splash pad area is spacious and is well laid out. Super super fun!
