Rodeway Inn & Suites - Hotel in Lake Havasu City - 335 London Bridge Rd, USA

My room was at the end if the hall. It was not marked smoking/no smoking. The sink drain stopper did not work. I used the shampoo lid. The shower drainstopper didn't work either and there was mold in the shower. The room needed some work. I worked in a facility like this for three summers. If my rooms were not perfect I would have been fired. It was like "we are at the end of the rooms so let's forget about it". Had I known the king rooms were SO MUCH BETTER I would have booked one of those.

Called on our way to town. Was asked if we wanted a room with a balcony overlooking the lake. I said sure. Asked if we needed to officially reserve the room or if we could come in when we got to town (less than an hour). Was told to just come in. When we got there, the front desk clerk was arguing with a lady about her reservation that she clearly had confirmation for on her phone. He then proceeded to tell me they had no rooms available. Pretty sure we dodged a bullet on this place. It all looked very runned down. There were multiple signs in the lobby about fake service animals. No elevator. Just not a nice hotel.

Mrs Patel could not find my reservation and it took her a long time to check us in manually. It didn't take long for us to decide to go elsewhere once we passed the industrial strength fans positioned in the long hallway to our room.

Room was good. Wifi was hard to get and even when I was able to figure it out it was not stable. I do not recommend it for business - bring your own hotspot! Key card did not always work - even staff had a hard time getting them to work. Overall, it was an ok experince.

The only positive is that the rooms are clean and priced good for a quick trip. The negatives were that the room was very dated and in need of repair. Paint was old and worn, there was tile missing in the bathroom, fans left in the hallways, and the towels were small and very rough. The sink had a rotten egg smell we assumed was from the water. There was an indoor pool with the doors left open, leaving a chlorine smell in the hallways. Staff was friendly, but due to errors when checking in, our credit card was charged numerous times. By check-out, they had reversed all charges. We booked the king suite and ended up in a standard double.

The rooms and hallway carpet are a little dated. The pool is colder than swimming in the lake when it's below 32f outside. And there is no elevator. I can get past all that. The room is clean. I like that the hotel is close to the English village and the state Park.

Overall we were satisfied with this hotel. The balcony was a great amenity looking out at lake Havasu. The hotel itself is showing its age but the rooms were clean and reception was friendly & helpful. There is no elevator in case that’s important to you. Wasn’t an issue for us. The pro for the location is the view of the lake however English Village area where there are lots of restaurants etc…is about a 20 min walk. If you like breweries check out Mudshark Brewery. Best pizza! And great beer options!

I'm a 37 year resident of Lake Havasu. And I will never go to this hotel. They treat the local residents like we're visitors. Won't rent a hotel room without 200 dollar deposit. Because of 1 other resident of havasu damaged the place. We are all the same. Seems a little like.....stereo typing people or what they call it.........Weird how we never did that to you.......I would never or recommend this place to anyone ever.
