I was hesitant to book after reading reviews but figured for the price we’d give it a shot. Room was clean and I was surprised at the level of comfort the beds provided. The pool area was fine and everything working and they did have plenty of towels. We did have to check-in at the front desk before using the pool, which was weird, but not a far walk. The air hockey table was missing paddles, but the boys still had fun with it. There was leftover pizza trash on the tables a guest never took care of, and next morning it was still there which was weird it wasn’t cleaned for breakfast patrons. Yes, the breakfast is limited but we were fine knowing that and it met our needs (cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, fruit). For the value, we’d stay here again.

BED BUGS! This sucks because we loved this hotel! I already left this review once, and I believe it was taken down. I will keep reposting this, under different accounts if I have to. I feel like I paid for a nice stay, and what I got was 2 weeks of itchy misery. I stayed here a month ago. Within 24 hours of my stay, these bug bites appeared all over my daughter and I. My husband slept in his own bed at the hotel, and he had ZERO BITES. I called the hotel, not to complain, but as a courtesy. If it was my hotel, I would want to know about bugs so I can fix the problem asap. The hotel said they had no bugs and no one else had complained about them. So I decided to wait and see if new bites appeared while we slept in our beds at home. It has been a month, and we have not done any bug treatments other than to wash all of the clothes we went to the hotel with. We have not seen one single new bug bite since our stay at the hotel. We had not stayed ANYWHERE else, so the bites had to come from this hotel. I do not want to harm the business and do not enjoy this, but they seem to want to hide this truth. As a customer, I only wanted to know where they came from and that the problem would be fixed so we could eventually come back for another stay at our favorite pool spot. But I think they did not tell me the truth, and now the review I left 2 days ago is gone. I still have discolored marks on my body where the bug bites were. It was an itchy and miserable experience for 2 weeks while the bites faded. I don't want another parent to have to listen to their kid cry because they are so itchy. JUST PAY TO GET YOUR ROOMS TREATED FOR BED BUGS. If you delete this review, I will just call or keep posting. If you had just told me the truth and given me a refund a month ago, I would have NEVER left a review. So, handle this situation better in the future.

Positive: location, staff is friendly, recently remodeled, the pool and hot tub are nice too! Negative: only "complaint" is that the room has a radiator against the wall and the cover was kind of knocked off when we first got there. Also one of the walls has some damage from prior guests but other than that the hotel is really nice value for the price!

We stayed at this location Saturday, May 4. We had two, adjoining rooms on the second floor. Both rooms were "refreshed", clean (and aside from one flickering bathroom light) were in good working order. Good value room. The breakfast offering was light on choice and the coffee in the dispensers was completely cold. Desk clerks were very nice on both check in and check out. This is a fine location to sleep and get up and go.

The reviews on Expedia were reasonably high and there was a picture of a nice pool, so we booked a room. When we got there, the person at the desk seemed confused about how to check in an Expedia reservation. She ended up having to call someone else for advice. After we finally checked in I saw that there was a sign that said that you have to register at the desk in order to use the pool and to receive the pool towels, which I have never heard of. I expressed surprise, and then she said oh no the pool is actually closed for maintenance. There was no such sign at the desk, merely a sign up sheet with a lot of instructions and lists of things we can't do. It also said that when the pool is open, it opens at 10:00 a.m. This doesn't seem reasonable when the checkout time is 11:00 a.m. On our way to the room, there was a large puddle of water on the floor in the hallway by the ice machine. I thought that this would be a slipping hazard so I informed the desk, and someone else walking by said something like oh that's been like this for a while. Our room itself was okay. I called Expedia to let them know that the pool was not available. They called the front desk and talk to someone named Johnny, who apparently insisted that I had misunderstood and that the pool was merely closed for the evening and would open in the morning. However when we woke up in the morning there was definitely a sign on the pool that said that it was closed for maintenance. The breakfast was advertised to be a continental breakfast, so we were not expecting a hot meal. However it really was rather skimpy. There was yogurt but all of it was the kind that has artificial sweetener. There was an almost empty container of milk in the refrigerator. There were some generic brand wrapped pastries that looked sort of tired, as well as some cereal and bread. There were also some bananas (mostly over ripe) as well as some apples. There was no one in attendance to refill things. When we checked out at a little after 10:30, there was no one at the desk. We rang the bell several times and no one came. We eventually were able to find a housekeeper who said that the person at the desk was also checking the rooms so we would have just have to wait. We waited a little bit longer and then we eventually were able to locate the person as she was coming out of a room. She was sympathetic but she explained that she has to check people out, check the rooms, and supervise the housekeeping. I said that they should be staffing the desk continuously during a peak check out time, She agreed but said that she had to do her other duties as well. I feel like at every other hotel, this would be the job of two separate employees. It seems like they are doing the bare minimum to be able to advertise having a breakfast and a pool. I also feel that all the strict rules about the pool make one feel that they are add a dorm or training camp as opposed to on vacation. I do not recommend this hotel.

They had to "smell my room" to reserve another night. What the actual???!!! I am disabled and have an ADA registered service dog. I was treated poorly because I left my dog in the room to deal with the front desk for 5 minutes. I would NEVER stay here again for being discriminated due to my dog. These people need to understand the laws on service animals. Also the rooms are not clean. My socks were black from the floor and the "breakfast" is a joke. Trash all over outside and there was vomit outside the door that no one cleaned up despite my advising. Gross! Spend a little more on the hotel next door you will be a lot happier.

Positive: location, younger cleaning staff was friendly, younger front desk staff was friendly Negative: Older manager was a bit rude, the older cleaning lady never acted friendly/smiled towards/at me. We were also told by her to not use the trash can by the laundry -- which we were using to place our trash in and make it easier for the cleaning staff.

Can I give this hotel a 0? Worst room setup I’ve ever experienced for the worst night of sleep in my life. A huge block of rooms are right outside this large “common area” and indoor pool… you see where I’m going with this. You will not even hope of sleep until the pool closes at 10. Even then. Be prepared for low lifes to congregate out in the “common area” for hours letting their kids scream and run around. Tried calling the front desk who said they would “talk to them”… yeah that did nothing. I had to be the one in my pjs asking the parents to quiet their kids down at 11pm! Absolutely awful. Will never stay here again.

They have good smoked meats. I'm a whiskey drinker, but their moonshine is very good. The mixed drinks are refreshing, and you can try a pic 3 taster of the moonshine. I like the bourbon, wheat, rye, and apple pie moonshine. The Cuban, for me, is a t

Nice variety of baked goods. Holiday cookies now, many standard items. Variety of doughnuts, also was great to have fresh plain doughnuts! Some prepackaged items are also good. Would go back and recommend if you want dessert.
